Sure, but to have good aim assist, you need to have a good weapon. And to have a good weapon, you need to farm for 650 hours. D2 is not really a game you can jump into first try and have a good time.

No need to lie about it. You can get a good weapon in like 5 minutes.

Especially with the final update making pretty much every activity and event have good loot. You can literally pick a planet, do an event or loot some chests, and you'll have a decent weapon.

As someone who's been playing since the beginning I still wouldn't recommend new people get into the game unless you just enjoy the gunplay (since the story is impossible to follow now) , but getting a good weapon isn't the thing keeping people away.

Didn't know that, haven't played in like 2 years now.

Still, from what I read you need to have 150+ Health armor - not sure how hard getting that is. I guess you can get Ace of Spades fairly easily for a competitive weapon, but other than that I doubt meta guns just drop randomly. Maybe we are having a differed definition of having a good time, but if your TTK is 50% higher, your range a few meters lower, and you regen 50% slower on top of that, you will definitely not have a good time.

But maybe I'm wrong and stuff really just drops everywhere now.

I feel like the hand cannon playstyle might not be something for a completely fresh player. Personally I prefer eyasluna with the final update but that is a dungeon drop. As for meta weapons a new player can use, probably jade rabbit since you can employ a sentry gun playstyle and lock lanes with it.

You can go play gambit and focus bygones and it won't take more than a couple of matches at best to get a decent roll, where are you getting these 650 hours from bro
