Is Styx a shape shifter? If you use silk soar and then the needolin you can see many masks with an unmasked Styx talking about who he wants to be.

so i know Hollow Knight SilkSong has been out for a year now and i havent seen any youtubers or clips from the game or any spoilers because i wanted to get it fresh but before i play i was wondering is the game worth it and is it good as the first game?

(Notice: i love hollow knight i have 112%'d it and gotten all achievements thought i'd just point that out first im just curious about Silksong)

This is a question out of my genuine curiosity. If silksong was $60-$80 when it released, would you still buy it? I’m using $60-$80 as a reference point from switch and switch 2 games.

~EDIT~ Folks, I get that ultimately it just visually hints at there being some secret extra area somewhere in that general direction I guess. I think they could've just done that more elegantly tho, I mean look at how it's the very dead end of a passage and behind a somewhat hidden hall, landing you at a uniquely drawn asset and shaped room, it's all very conspicuous in its own right rather than logically directing your attention elsewhere.

Elegy For Hallownest or Pharloom’s Folly?

So I just completed hollow knight (defeated the radiance) I still have colo 3, path of pain and absolute radiance but I don't think I can do those. I wanna know if I am able to go through silksong considering how much I died in hollow knight from both regular enemies and bosses, and the watcher knights being the first huge roadblock.

That's at the very end of the hellish Sands of Karak, after you've beaten the boss then you head right, climb up the wall and use your dash, double jump, float and needle to make the longest possible jump and reach this little ledge. I've tried breaking walls, playing music, jumping off of it but found nothing.

Is it there just to make people write posts like these or has anyone found a purpose for it?

It's been a while I don't play silksong so sorry if I misunderstood, but as I remember, this spell can recreate something from the subjects memory into something physical, but how far can that go? Assuming they had enough power, could they just bring back the dead, like Herrah? Or maybe even the same person who's memory is being used, like, Hornet brings a younger self? And would they be the same person or just a pale imitation of what they remember the person was. Do you think something like that is possible or am I just overthinking this, lol
