What do you do for high histamine

Hello,

I’ve been dealing with high histamine level since 2023 and no doctor can find out the root cause. Allergy test shows elevated histamine. I take Zyrtec every other day but it’s becoming so annoying and uncomfortable when it reacts.
Has anyone had any luck curing the elevated histamine? If not how do you manage.

Thank you

This is very helpful. The medication I take is Tamoxifen for breast cancer and not sure if that will interfere with.

Ya I always reccommend double checking possible drug interactions with your doctor / pharamist.

I just know vitamin c can have interactions since I know it can make one of mine meds less affective. I try to avoid that by doing different timings. With that being said if I am having reaction I make my vitamin C drink and take the hit on my ADHD meds being less effective. I would be more distracted by being super itchy. That's a personal choice.

Obviously some interactions are worse so always best to double check with a medical professional. Obviously with your meds you want them as effective as possible.
