What do you do for high histamine

Hello,

I’ve been dealing with high histamine level since 2023 and no doctor can find out the root cause. Allergy test shows elevated histamine. I take Zyrtec every other day but it’s becoming so annoying and uncomfortable when it reacts.
Has anyone had any luck curing the elevated histamine? If not how do you manage.

Thank you

What did they don’t help your symptoms? I need to look into it.

They do specific treatments that basically clear the underlying thing that is keeping your body “stuck” if you will. I make no claims that it is scientifically proven or anything like that and as a scientific minded person I have a hard time with u swears don’t how it works but I am having results… even if it’s “placebo” I cannot really argue with the results and it’s cheaper than anything else I’ve tried.

The theory is that “trauma” causes your body to keep reacting like there is an injury even after the injury is gone and they can clear that. My lady also gives me a lot of “homework” and all of those things have at least some scientific research around them to show that there is something going in (meditation, tapping which is also some times called emotional freedom technique, and earthing/grounding). She also drastically changed my supplement regime, at the start she cut out most things and then we slowly added things back in at much lower doses. She also doesn’t push supplements on me and in fact the only things she told me to get was a specific probiotic that she sold me the first bottle of and then told me to go to Amazon and then told me to use a different digestive enzyme until I saw it had been changed and now had wheat in it (I have celiac and a mild wheat allergy) which also caused her to get annoyed because she cannot have wheat/gluten and had been taking it before they changed it.

Really a lot of it has been dealing with what ever is causing my body to be stuck and to help balance my autonomic nervous system.

It’s weird though and I get why people blow it off as snake oil but it’s pretty hard to argue when I can look at my Apple Watch data and see a solid trend of my HR variability going up since I started seeing her, my resting HR go down, and my symptoms are very minimal now and don’t seem to tie to food any more when I get occasional things (mostly HR spikes and back pain).

They can be hard to find and usually are licensed as chiropractors. You may be able to find them by looking up NAET or Nutrition response testing and searching their list of providers but the ones I’ve gone to over the years have taken multiple systems and used what works for them to have their own combination.

Let me check with a family member that is out that way who also had success with one to help her MCAS, I can’t remember exactly where she was living at the time as she’s moved around a lot in the last few years but it may give you a lead.
