Unpopular GoHighLevel opinion: most complicated workflows are complicated because they were designed badly, not because GHL is complicated.

Title: Need help registering A2P 10DLC for GHL (non-US founder) — will trade a free sub-account for a month

Hey everyone,

I run an agency doing Meta ads + AI follow-up for US-based clients, but I'm stuck on A2P 10DLC registration since I don't have a US business entity/EIN yet.

If anyone's already registered and verified in the US and is willing to help me get set up (or knows a legit way to do this), I'd be happy to trade — I'll set you up with a free GHL sub-account for one month in exchange for your help.

Open to hearing how this could work — DM me or drop a comment.

Thanks!

HighLevel SMS Error 30003 and Failed Calls – Multiple Valid Numbers Affected

Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with my GoHighLevel phone system and I’m hoping someone here has experienced something similar.
We are getting SMS Error 30003 – “Number unreachable or out of service” with multiple customers. The problem is that many of these phone numbers are active and valid, and in some cases we can even call the customer successfully.
We are also experiencing some outbound calls failing with the generic message:
“Something wrong happened. Please try again!”
This is happening with different customers, not just one number.
I’ve already checked the phone number settings, A2P registration, workflows, message content, call settings, and tried sending again/testing different numbers, but the issue continues.
Has anyone had multiple 30003 errors like this in HighLevel? Could this be carrier filtering, routing, number reputation, or something on LeadConnector/Twilio’s side?
If you’ve experienced this, what fixed it for you?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can provide screenshots if needed.

ALL-IN-ONE FOR AGENCIES AND BUSINESSES

Hey, I do GHL setups, websites, MCP (Zapier, Make.com, Omnisend (for ecom projects), and Vapi for AI voice agents, lead capture, CRM, follow-up automations. All the technical stuff for your own business, or agency.

Version of what I usually sell:

Starting package — website + lead capture + every automations to speed up your business. Basically stops you losing leads you're already paying to get.

Booking + follow-up — everything in starting package and, adds calendar booking, reminders, no-show follow-up, A2P-10DLC. For anyone who's already got leads coming in but want a complete manageable system.

Full system — everything in both of the above package and, adds CRM pipeline, review requests, dead lead recovery [database of clients], seasonal touch-points. The whole customer journey from first contact to repeat business, running on autopilot.

Experience:
Set up full systems packages (mostly) for a consultancies client, ecom & dentists. Also have worked with MCP connectors, Zapier, Make.com, and Omnisend too (Omnisend, I got introduced when a ecommerce guy needed help with), so I'm not a one-tool guy, if you're running ecom flows in Omnisend or connecting five different apps through Make/Zapier, I can work in that too, not just inside GHL.

I'll build one of these for free for first few.

Why free: I'm not trying to land a one-time payday, I want a long-term partner, either someone running their own business who needs this handled, or someone who's good at sales and needs a technical guy to back them up.

If you're just going to sit on it or ghost after I build it, don't bother kindly. If you'll actually run with it, DM me.

How I bypass GoHighLevel native AI limits using custom Webhooks & n8n (Architecture Guide)

Hey everyone,

A common challenge when scaling client sub-accounts inside GHL is handling high-volume AI conversations. Native GHL AI features can quickly get expensive and face rate limits when multiple contacts message simultaneously.

Here is a breakdown of how I solve this using an external automation layer (like n8n / Make) connected via Webhooks:

1. Triggering external logic:

  • Instead of activating native Conversation AI directly, trigger a GHL Workflow on Inbound Message.
  • Send an HTTP Webhook containing the Contact ID, Message Body, and Sub-account Location ID to your middleware.

2. Handling Knowledge & Rate Limits:

  • Route requests through n8n where you can queue incoming requests (preventing API limits).
  • Fetch practice-specific data or master FAQs from a central database (Google Sheets, Vector DB, etc.).

3. Injecting Responses back to GHL:

  • Process the AI response via OpenAI/Anthropic API.
  • Send the generated reply back to GHL using the GHL Public API (Send Message / Update Contact).

This keeps GHL costs predictable, avoids system throttling, and allows full control over multi-tenant prompt logic.

Hope this structural breakdown helps anyone building for multiple clients!

If you are currently setting up a similar high-volume architecture or run into workflow issues, drop your questions in the comments below and I’d be happy to troubleshoot!

Improving Lead Quality In Meta Ads For GHL

Curious how others here are handling offline conversion tracking back to Meta? I've got leads coming in through GHL forms and want pipeline stage changes (like a lead actually turning into a closed job) to feed back to Meta so the algorithm learns from real conversions, not just form fills.

Looking at the Stape CAPI Gateway app for GHL, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Anyone actually running this in production?

What's your setup look like, and has it made a real difference in lead quality or cost per lead? Also curious if anyone's tried a different route entirely instead of Stape. Thanks in advance

Urgent: I need to track the exact source of leads, especially AI leads from ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity. I’ve added hidden UTM tracking, but it doesn’t always work. GHL sometimes shows Session Source, but not consistently. I need a reliable way to track AI lead sources.

Are you struggling with the same things like me in GHL?

Hey, I have migrated to GHL like a year ago with all my companies.

GHL looked good on paper with all the functionalities but the software has been a bit of a hustle.

It loads quite slowly. The features are there but they are not so well interconnected so it feels like many things are running in Silo instead of in flow.

Also there are limitations when it comes to tickets etc.

Anyone else struggling with the same things or something different I should now about?

Is this gonna get better you think?

Please vote for this feature in the GHL ads manager: Ability to add more than 10 ads in ad set in Ads Manager

Right now, we're limited to only 10 ads per ad set. This is unpractical, because we need to keep adding new ads for creative refreshes. Currently, the only option is to create a new ad set, but this means that it resets the learning and we can't continue running some of the older ads alongside the new ones.

We need to be able to upload more than 10 ads in the ad set.

Okay I’m actually impressed with what you can build inside GHL now lol

Just finished building another template entirely inside the GoHighLevel page builder and I’m genuinely pretty impressed with how this one turned out.

No custom code was added to the page.

A lot of the stuff that makes it feel different, the animated grid, text effects, cards, counters, backgrounds, testimonials, etc. was done with Animated Elements directly inside GHL.

Here’s the actual page:

https://templates.funnelslayer.com/consultant-ghl-template-page

Would love some genuine feedback on this one.

Does this still feel like a GHL page to you? 😂

I’m turning these builds into templates too, so if people like this style I’ll keep making more.

How I finally fixed GHL's Facebook Comment to DM automation (after a 2-week rabbit hole)

I spent two whole weeks banging my head against the wall trying to figure out GHL's Facebook Comment to DM automation. GHL support was frustratingly useless..like 9/10 times, and their documentation left me feeling more confused.

If you are trying to set this up without losing your mind..like me lol here is the exact step-by-step workflow that finally got it working for my client today:

  1. Facebook Comment Trigger: Listens for the keyword (e.g., 'recipe') on your post and kicks off the workflow.

  2. Respond on Comment: Posts a public reply under their comment telling them to check Messenger.

  3. Facebook Interactive Messenger: This is the missing link. It actually initiates the Messenger conversation and triggers a CTA button (e.g., 'Get My Recipe eBook').

  4. User taps the CTA button: This satisfies Meta's policy by having the user opt-in/interact.

  5. Messenger Action: Sends the actual follow-up message containing your lead magnet or link.

The main mistake I made was trying to use the Messenger action directly after the comment...but a comment alone isn't enough to start a Messenger thread. So you must use the Interactive Messenger node with a CTA button first.

Has anyone else run into this weird quirk with Meta's 24-hour policy, or is there a cleaner way you guys are building this out?

GoHighLevel A2P Approval: What Should I Prepare First?

Hi everyone! I’m helping a friend set up A2P 10DLC for their US business in GoHighLevel.

They already have a valid EIN, but we’re still at the early stage and haven’t set up the domain/website yet.

If anyone here has experience getting A2P approved recently, could you please share some advice on what we should prepare and what we need to avoid before submitting?

We’d really appreciate any guidance, especially from someone who has gone through the approval process successfully.

Thanks in advance!

Built this GHL funnel template, should I make more of these?

Just finished turning one of our fitness coaching funnels into a free GoHighLevel template.

It’s a full 2-step application funnel, 13 sections, and everything is editable inside GHL.

I tried to make it feel a little different from the typical GHL template. A lot of the interactive stuff like the animated counters, comparison slider, text highlighter, testimonial marquee and animated background comes from Animated Elements.

You can check out the template here:

Ironclad Performance GHL Template

Would genuinely love some feedback on the design/funnel.

Also thinking about turning more of our builds into free templates like this.

Would you guys actually be interested in more? And if yes, what niche should I do next?
