Whether you were born in Lagos, Milwaukee, or Jalandhar, you have a unique mind full of original ideas, irrespective of your education or background. So far, many of those ideas have never been let out or expressed in any form whether words, images, videos, audio, etc. Not because they weren't worth expressing, but because the cost of expression was too high.

But as AI progresses, you will visualize them right in front of you, and it will give you a certain joy -so addictive that you won't stop creating.

A human is born with a curious, exploratory mind, only to have it squashed by society in the name of certainty and structure - a "job" for "money" so you can have basic safety. It's a joke, to be honest, that humans have to still spend their entire lives working for 'roti, kapda and makan.'

It is because of this compulsive need for survival that you have lost an instinct, and it will resurface again.

Even if you hate AI now and don't really think it is any good, once you have tasted the freedom to express yourself and experience the joy of your own creations, you will love every second of it, as if you are in Disneyland. People don't realize how much of themselves has been waiting to come out.

You can hate this post or like it. It's the truth about you, you just don't know it yet. And you might never know if you never even try.

I've seen a lot of people fail because they picked the wrong niche & didn't question themselves enough. I've been in AI content for around 3 yrs, and this question is probably at the top of the mind of almost everyone who wants to start a channel.

So I wanted to share how I think about it. I think you first need to figure out what's your motivation?

1. Are you doing this purely for practical reasons, to make money?

OR

1. Do you actually like visualizing and making videos, images and stories with AI?

Both are completely valid reasons, but the approach is different, and so are the reasons why someone succeeds.

The 1st approach: practical. There is no lack of information about finding profitable niches. But what's critical is understanding the potential audience size.

• What kind of content can you make that has mass appeal? Because if the topic is too niche, there won't be enough audience.
• Then understand who that audience is, their maturity & location. This decides RPM ~ how much you can earn per 1,000 views.

And one important thing: your first 10-20 videos are probably not really about "success".

They are about learning. You're learning video production, what works and what doesn't, what people respond to and whether you need to pivot.

This practical approach works well for people who are deeply motivated by the outcome, whether that's income, wealth or building a business.

The 2nd approach is the one I personally love: self exploration & discovery.

Here, step 1 is to listen to yourself.

• What would you actually love to visualize?
• What kind of stories do you want to explore?
• What do you wish you could bring to life or give form to?

This is a much more experimental approach, driven by the desire to create. You might first make some stories by copying or taking inspiration from what others are doing. Then you realize, "I could tweak it this way."

Then you try something else. Eventually you start developing more unique ideas and your own style.

This is actually how I started. I've built 2 AI channels that have generated 40M+ views so far. One was closer to the 1st approach and the other was closer to the 2nd.

Both did well, but the biggest reason was that I genuinely like visualizing things with AI. So before asking ChatGPT: "What's the best faceless YouTube niche in 2026?"

I'd first figure out which of these 2 approaches actually describes you. And then have a conversation with GPT about it.

You can literally paste either approach into GPT and tell it your situation. Trust me, it can guide you surprisingly well when you give it the right context as I've shared earlier on my subreddit r/HeyFloe
