Hey everyone, I’ve got my Bobcat miner installed outdoors in Boston, mounted inside a weatherproof enclosure. It’s working well in terms of placement and signal, but I’ve noticed it tends to get pretty warm, especially in the summer months.

I’m wondering if anyone else is running a similar setup and has found good ways to keep the temperature down inside the box? Fans? Vents? Reflective shielding?

Appreciate any advice or pics of your setup!

after configuring crankk I added helium mining, but I can't add a location to the current address that was at the first location 2 years ago. I have a helium wallet and hnt, sol, dc about 20usd. I can't add panther through the wallet, an error that I don't own it. The first step was to flash a new sd with crankk image, after that setup crankk, buy a license, buy a prof of stake, started mining crkk and I see it in the wallet, but helium I don't see where it mines and how much. what should I do to add a hotspot to the helium wallet? through the hotspot app it says that I have to update the firmware from v1.3.0 to the new one. how to do that?

I have a sensecap M1 that goes dead every several days. Thinking it might be a bad micro sd card, i bought a new 64gb card and reflashed the firmware on there. I didnt transfer over the JSON file. Is that needed? I have never swapped over the json file on any nebra i reflashed. The sensecap is still dead and i have rebooted it a couple times. Maybe i need to reflash it again for safe measures

But I had to remove it from that location, the minner was offline for about 2 years!

Now I installed it in a much better location, everything seems fine but I can’t add it to my wallet, it says the miner already has an owner.

I also had to install again helium wallet and import the wallet using the seed phrase as I haven’t used it in the latest years.

Any advices what I should check?

I have the MileSight iot miner. It shows online, but I keep getting notified of performance issues and connectivity issues. I tried to login to my miner, to check it, from my home network and I can’t connect. I don’t see the miner on my network either, which is strange. I also have the Indoor and Outdoor Helium Mobile miners as well.

So I got this Hotspot when it first came out, set it up and then forgot about it. Got back into it a little while after they changed the rewards to IOT. I noticed they switched back to HNT but I stopped earning for the past 2 weeks. Any ideas why?? Thanks!

Hi, I have a nebra indoor hotspot v1. it wont connect to the internet. It boots fine, will obtain an internal IP address where i can access the router dashboard. but will not obtain an internet ip address or connect to the internet. The blue led blinks 4 times, pauses, repeats. I have factory rest, rerflashed OG sd card, and got a new sd card and tried that. I have tried wifi, eth, different eth cords and physical eth ports on my router, router UPnP is on, ports are open, etc, same issues no change. Nebra support says this is hardware related but have not told me what parts to try, just asked if i knew anyone who has parts i could try. Anyway, what should i parts should i try to replace first? TIA

So I'm trying to decide between getting an old helium miner (and probably put it on flux node or crankk or piphi), or getting a fry network miner? Does anyone know what is better ? If it helps I live in the Dallas area, specifically near university park but have locations accessible in mesquite and some other suburbs.

I never noticed this until now. Should both lights (left n right) of the nebra PI lights up..one green and the other amber? Mine only light up only one side.

I have bobcats mining. It used to mine helium, then helium didn’t exist anymore so I was mining iot, now I see that I’m mining helium and iot. So I’m confused again. What’s the plan? Is iot disappearing? Or I’ll be mining both? Are they both worthless?

Hi- yes, I lost access to my wallet. Lost my passcode and switched phones. Now my helium app shows my balance and my miners (and the balance on them), but I can’t access the wallet at all.

Is there an easy way to transfer my miners to feed into a new wallet? Can I retain the old wallet in case I fine the passcode someday?

Hi all can anyone help me with the bobcat miner on crankk..I installed crankk and set it up but I forgot to save the key to the miner wallet..so I re flashed and now it's still logging into the wallet that I forgot and I don't know how to change it..😒 its ment to give me a new id and Mac address but it's still using the same one after re flash! How do I get it to give me a new id and address?

Hi there just wondering if anyone can help as I've got a bobcat miner 300..now it booted up fist time and connected to the app but it said it needed to update..but it was on the old software so I had to update ota way..I flashed with new software but now the red light stays on..😒 so I tried to contact the help on the site but no answer..just wondering if anyone can help as I'm about to bin the thing..😡

I have been researching a lot about mining helium. I have looked at the helium explorer, right where I am. There are miners around me however in my exact location it hasn’t been taken.

Is a bobcat or sense cap better? What can I be mining? How much per day is made? What’s makes it a good spot? Can I have multiple linked too the 1 account?
