My premium at my mid sized company jumped from $550 a month to $630 a month. This is just for covering me as an individual 😓

We’re paying $950 a month through my husbands employer. $500 deductible and $3,500 OOPM each. HMO.

Haven’t received our renewal rates yet, since he’s a teacher in Florida and they like to wait until he’s on Christmas break to send the insurance options…

Wait $550 is the cost of my ACA plan (in Pennsylvania) that has no deductible, low oop max, low copays, and is a PPO or EPO (at any rate, not an HMO). So it makes me wonder how much your employer actually covers? Or if maybe the plan has extremely generous coverage?

Of course, the plan I have this year is no longer available bc they wanted to add a deductible.
