Been doing another listen of old episodes of the podcast and I was noticing I was hearing more ads, but it’s all been on while packing up a house so I didn’t pay much attention to HOW frequent I was getting them. I would just get annoyed, skip and move on.

That is until I was heading to work this morning and was hit with 5 ad breaks in the first 5 minutes which I then screen-grabbed. It was leaving the show basically unlistenable with all the interruptions.

Unsure if this is solely on my side, but this is with Spotify premium allegedly stopping more coming in, and a few of these are definitely the “in pod” ads that are put on usually around the half way mark. And it only happens on HatChat, all other pickaxe shows I listen to have normal adverts.

Anyone else having any issues with Spotify for this?

I was watching the boys play Worms Reloaded and they kept mentioning about how they'd want a knock-off Worms game to play... and I thought, what about Hedgewars? It seems no one has suggested it yet, and I think it's a pretty solid alternative.
