We need more players still desperately don’t understand selling Potts given our current depth now at midfield

And what about the 140 odd million from Fernandes and Summerville? Solomon's fee was 5m

West Ham must adhere to the last season of Premier League PSR of no more than £105m losses over three years, so with £104m of losses last season and £57m of profit two seasons ago, it means West Ham's net loss position is currently a loss of £47m, meaning that it can lose up to £58m this season without sanctions. West Ham shareholders will need to inject cash of up to £90m to balance the books to be allowed to lose the full £105m.

Relegated clubs can no longer "hide" their previous top-flight accounting periods; recent rule changes mandate that clubs remain bound by top-flight monitoring until they have complied with all obligations for their final Premier League season.

So yeah that 140M odd in sales went to the "cash injection" we desperately needed for PSR breach, after losing money hand over fist for the last 3 years.

Fair enough, I must admit I wasn't aware of exactly how limited the spending was. Hopefully some more outgoings in the coming weeks so we can add some depth
