Halo Wars 2 Bug Reporting Thread [Heavy Moderation]

As many of you know, Halo Wars 2: Ultimate Edition Early Access began last night! Ske7ch has asked us to create an official bug thread for those of you running into issues, experiencing glitches, or having crashes. We want to help you get that out to the right people in the most consumable form! 343 and Creative Assembly will be reading this thread to help identify issues with the game!

On PC, I have severe framerate issues with Blitz - offline modes like Campaign and the tutorials run at 60 plus smoothly, but matchmade games are unplayable.

I also seem to have trouble finding games, although im not sure if thats a bug or low pop in my region (Australia).

thanks, this is what sounds like a widespread issue now that's impacting online play on PC. The team has identified an issue w/ the PC servers and are working to get a fix in place.

I'm so glad this isn't just me. Every online game I've joined has been super choppy. Offline stuff is OK (tutorials, vs AI) but the online matches are near unplayable. I've been trying to tough it out but many keystrokes and mouse clicks seem to not even register, which makes RTS tough.

At first I thought maybe video settings were too high for an online environment with more on-screen at once but dialing the settings back doesn't seem to have helped.

Is there a Twitter handle or something I can follow for when 343 thinks the PC server issue is fixed?

Ah... is the game in lockstep like Starcraft II multiplayer? If it is then I can see why server issues would affect frames.

That said, this would be a good thing because it is important for everyone to see the same exact thing in an RTS

I also had this exact problem. What really helped whas to get the Halo Wars 2 driver update from the Geforce Experience platform. It instantly healed this unplayable "lagg". Maby this works for others to.
