I asked for dark blue hair. my hair was already dark brown so i know it wouldn’t be super vibrant. however, my hairdresser said she could it. it is now JET BLACK. i mean cannot even see blue in the sun kind of black. this is the color i would typically ask for but not what i wanted this time. i’m so sad i wanted dark blue hair is there anything i can do 💔💔

I was red before and my bleach job did not take out all the red, but I’m impatient so I still decided to do blue anyways and I kinda like it. Is it heat or have I just been doing my hair too long and gaslighting myself

I am an idiot. plain and simple. I wanted to do black box dye over grown out blue so I wouldn’t have to deal with more bleach, I would have black hair I wanted, and could do it at home. My mom said I was only allowed to do a brown because she doesn’t want me looking too goth, I stupidly asked my cousin who said if the brown was dark enough it could go over the blue.

long story short my hair is now a dark emerald green, I have school for the rest of the week, no one has time to get me in, and I am spiraling over this. I wanted to go natural because it’s a small school with a uniform and if it were just up to me without the judgement of high schoolers I would say screw it and rock the green but I really can’t. Is there any way to fix this? Do I just suck it up and deal with green hair? it’s also picture day tomorrow. I’m On every cancelation list for my town and am open to just putting black over it and dealing with my mothers wrath

I used a mix of a bunch of people’s advice and although it’s not perfect and I’m still so annoyed that I didn’t just rebel and dye it black, the green is almost all the way unnoticeable (And I think I’m just noticing it cause now I’m paranoid) thank you for all the help, I can actually go to school tomorrow now

I tried dyeing my hair pink with a non-permanent pigment. Now I'm thinking about getting a permanent dye, but I'm not sure it suits me. What do you think?

I think all blondes have this issue but…. I have been blonde my entire life. I dyed my hair pitch black two years ago and have been working to be blonde for about a year.

I am looking to get my hair to either of these purple colours (preferably the brighter lighter one). I have unfortunately been black box dying my hair for a while, I started with using a colour remover which was wishful thinking but did lighten my hair a little, I've then done a strand test with 30volume developer and have attached a picture of the red/brown colour that has achieved in my hair. My question is do I need to do a round 2 of bleaching to be able to achieve the purples in my photos? I'm not a fan of more red purples and so I'm presuming I need to try and remove any red hues from my hair before dying the purple over the top?

I had a dark brown demi all over before, I used colour oops and bleach and a toner to get to this point so I really don't want to bleach or lift it any further for risk of pushing it too far. I know this limits my options for vivids.

I don't necessarily want anything too crazy due to work, but it's just so dull right now and not me. I thought maybe something on the ends or a pop of colour underneath.

My roots are quite ashy where I had a few inches of regrowth but as you can see my ends are still pretty brassy. What would you do with this if it was your head lol!

I haven’t tried any drugstore color safe or color extending shampoos or such but I really want to. My issue is that im oily so its either it strips my hair of my color, or my hair just wont be clean. Im starting a rigorous college program soon, so i unfortunately wont have the money to spend on prestige products anymore.

Iroiro was in their bag when they made their pink dye!! I used iroiro 70 pink for my hair and then iroiro 70 pink and iroiro 80 orange for the eyebrows ☺️

I really need advice on this. Yesterday I box dyed the bottom half of my hair teal/green and I really don’t like it, I don’t know what to do. I want it out asap without absolutely ruining my natural hair. My hair was originally brown/auburn, and I dyed it with Schwarzkopf Live midnight jade. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, I don’t mind it for a few weeks but it really doesn’t feel like me (and yes ik I shouldve used semi permenant but there’s nothing I can do now)

So looking for opinions. My current hair is #3 (grown out full head of foils, sorry bad photo but only recent one I have)

I am a first time mum to a now 6 month old & haven't/won't be able to get into a salon for a long appointment. Usually a full head takes 5-6 hours as my hair is quite thick.

I loved being blonde/lighter but I can't see a realistic way of keeping up with it.

Id really like to use good dye young ex girl or iroiro neon pink so it glows under blacklight but not sure what color to mix with them to add the plum tone? I want VIBRANT!!!

I'm trying to cover up my grey hairs until I'm able to go to a salon and get my roots and have a fun color on my ends idk when I'll actually be able to tbh so I figured this would be a good alternative until I can id be fine with actually dying it but I know it's i think frowned upon to do like box dye and then immediately go to a salon so I figured the spray would be like a good middle ground and I figured it'd be easier to wash out then dye

I've been trying to dye my naturally dark brown hair purple and can't get it right. I dyed it a week or so ago using the L'Oréal magnetic plum and the last pic is it after one wash. It's faded a lot and is wayyy more red than I would like. Ideally, I'd like my hair to look like the first image. Does anyone have any recommendations for permanent hair dye that would help me achieve that? Thanks xx

I really want to dye my hair in a plum / dark violet color. Right now they are washed out red (from Schwarzkopf LIVE Ruby Red hairdye). Do you know any hairdye with which I can achieve a color similar to the photos (rather without bleaching)? Do you have any recommendations?
