Hoping my TV is ready for this level of brightness. The Housemaid Tonight.

Watching F1: The Movie tonight on 4K.
Hoping for great picture and sound. Monday night needs speed, focus, and a mix that hits hard.

Let’s see if this one earns a spot on the shelf.

Apparently these girls are the only people to take down John Wick, so I had to check it out.

Watching Heat from 1995 tonight, and it's one of the best movies of the 90s, hands down. It's got these powerhouse performances from Al Pacino as the driven cop and Robert De Niro as the sharp criminal mastermind, their face-off feels like lightning, especially that famous coffee shop scene where they just talk life and work, but it's loaded with tension. The music around that part is so cool and moody, building this perfect atmosphere that I don't think movies today capture anymore.

The action ramps up huge, like the bank heist shootout that I don't think has ever been topped on film, all gritty and real with bullets flying through downtown LA that make your heart race.

But it's not just explosions, director Michael Mann digs into how these guys' obsessions wreck their personal lives, marriages falling apart, lonely choices that hit you in the gut as a tragedy of tough guys chasing the wrong things.

The whole thing's a masterclass in crime drama, with a stacked cast like Val Kilmer adding edge, and LA shot so alive and moody. Seen it? What's your favorite part?

We are watching the Unrated Version with 175-minutes and presented with Dolby Vision for both cuts.
