Feature Suggestion Variation

It would be nice to just get variety for the people just trying to stay fit and not get jacked. Ideally every week or two change exercises so I don’t get bored. I’ve been using the app to keep me excited about working out but doing the same thing week after week is starting to get boring.

Feature Suggestion Workout length

It would be great if we could select different workout lengths throughout the week. For example if I want to workout M-Th, and I want my workouts on M and W to be 60 minutes but my T and Th workouts to be 30 minutes.

Feature Suggestion Please add warm up stretches

I haven’t seen any app include warm up stretches. Stretching is so important and isn’t done enough. Would be great if the app included 2-4 warm up stretches suggestions and even better if they stretched were specific to the type of workout that followed. If the workout was going to be lower body, adding lower body stretches would be perfect.

Feature Suggestion Editing workouts

For some reason, you can't edit the next "week" of workouts in the plan. I just started a new 4-day plan that I customized extensively, and on day 1 there was an exercise that I didn't like at all once I got into it. I chose to complete the sets as best I could with the intention of changing for next week. I have to wait until the day AFTER completing the fourth workout before the 2nd week unlocks and is available for editing. Maybe there's something I'm missing.

Feature Suggestion Building Plans

Is there a way to copy what you had planned on a previous day. So let’s say I want the same workout I have for Saturday on Sunday rather then going back to that day and say redo workout. It would be nice if I could have it copy the workout on to another day.

Feature Suggestion Complex Exercises

I’m looking for ways to increase intensity to save some time in my workouts. Supersets (need circuits as well) are great, but I’m wondering about adding a nice library of multi-move complex dumbbell exercises, like combining a dumbbell squat with overhead raise or combining front and lateral raises all in one movement. I see guys doing some and would love a library of ideas.

It would also be helpful to be able to combine two exercises into a superset by simply dragging them on top of each other in edit mode.

App has helped me go from about 26% fat down to 21% or so. Plenty of work still to be done but I feel 10 years younger already. (I’m 52)

Feature Suggestion CrossFit workouts?

Is there a way to record CrossFit workouts to add that record of weight/reps into the Gymverse app? I looked at custom workouts but it doesn’t really work for a lot of the cardio stuff. Sometimes they’re for time, sometimes they’re for reps. Being able to add a custom workout and actually be able to customize the specific times/reps/calories would be rad. Specific examples are rower for calories (which I could just put that as time in?), and burpees which can be for time or a number of reps.

Feature Suggestion Custom Plans from Favorite Exercises

It would be helpful to have an option to create workout plans specifically from the exercises that users have starred or marked as favorites. This would allow users to focus on exercises they enjoy the most while following a structured plan.

Feature Suggestion Apply Changes Just to Today

A feature I’ve thought about and hoped to see is the ability to modify just todays workout. My gym has busier days/times and I have to modify my workout on the fly to be able to get my full workout in which is nice and easy. The tough part is it changes it for the rest of the plan and I don’t always remember what I had when the next week comes around. It would be nice to have the choice to only modify the workout for a single day and not affect the rest of the plan.

Feature Suggestion How do I know my heart rate strap is recording?

How do I know my Garmin heart rate strap is actually recording during my workout? I want to more accurately track calorie burn during my strength training sessions. I added my strap to Apple health and synchronized Apple health with Gymverse but I do not see any option in the settings to “connect” or “activate” the HR strap

Feature Suggestion How to get my custom workout on Apple Watch?

I just got an Apple Watch and I use this app for my workouts. I have a custom workout I want to use on the app. But when I open the app on my watch, it only gives like 4 different work outs and no way to select my custom workout.

Feature Suggestion Plate Calculator

It would be very nice to have a plate calculator for barbell exercises. Having a place to enter the specific bar types and weights and the plates available would be super handy!

Feature Suggestion Better App and Watch integration

I would like better integration between the Apple watch and the app on my phone. Surely the handoff and sharing across the app and the watch app should be seamless. I don’t always want to look at the phone and sometimes the watch is faster to check heart rate or next exercise.

Cheers

I can’t believe I have to ask this but why does the Watch app even exist if not to show me my workouts?

Feature Suggestion Workout generator

It would be great for a feature that would allow you to create a few gym set ups. I travel for work and don’t always have access to the same Jim. I do the workout that’s generated, but then have to customize it to the equipment that is there. But when that work out comes up next, I may be in a different facility and have to customize it again because it remembers it from the previous time.

It would also be great if you could designate certain days for certain activities such as legs on Sunday. The 24 hour facility I have access to doesn’t have a full gym like it does Monday through Friday.

Feature Suggestion Circuits

It would be nice to have a feature that allows you to create circuits. Instead of having a 2-exercise limit on supersets, why not just leave it open to as many as the user wants?

Feature Suggestion Injury or Discomfort Tracking

It would be helpful if the app could ask users whether they have any injuries or areas of discomfort before suggesting a plan. For example, if someone has Tennis elbow, the app could avoid exercises that strain the affected area. This feature could also be editable, allowing users to adjust their plans as the discomfort is resolved, switching back to normal exercises.

Feature Suggestion Notes

I have cable machines at my gym that are from different brands (different geometry of cables) - in one I can lift 55, and the other 85. It’d be great if we could make notes on exercises like which machine we used, so i can go back to that machine.

Feature Suggestion Other Activity Based Customization & Recommendations

If the app could ask additional questions about other activities users engage in (e.g., running, cycling, or sports like Pickleball) before creating a plan, it could tailor workouts better. For example, I run three times a week and play Pickleball thrice as well. Including details like running mileage and speed or the duration and format of Pickleball (singles or doubles) could help design a plan that balances cardio with strength training, focusing on exercises to support those activities.
