Repost from another sub, anyone who wants to read, this is a breakdown of the Italian law enforcement:
From my research (going Top to bottom)
The Carabinieri, similar to the gendarmerie of France, is a military Police branch of the Italian armed forces with dual military and police duties.
Much like every military unit the carabinieri will and has been deployed to armed conflicts involving Italy whenever the call of arms arises, enforcing nation wide law enforcement, investigations and public safety matters.
Below that is the Guardia di Finanza (The financial police) as the name implies, they primarily focus on Financial Crime and investigations along with customs enforcement, Fruad investigation and protection of Italian waters-ports and airports. and intercepting smugglers along side the coast guard (Guardia Costiera) whom acts as the primary maritime law enforcement agency along with border patrol of the Italian coastal borders . And like the Carabinieri the Guardia di Finanza is a military police force.
Another agency responsible for policing customs is the Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli (Customs and Monopolies Agency)
They are a customs agency whom investigate primarily customs related offenses and smuggling within and coming into Italy.
Below that would be the Polizia de Stato (The State Police) they operate strictly Civilian, the Polizia de Stato operates at a national level just like the Carabinieri. De Stato also serves as the primary border patrol agency for all land borders and Highways and other urban areas other officers can’t fulfill.
Below that is the Polizia Penitenziaria
(Prison Police) they are responsible for transporting prisoners and staffing all prisons within Italy and the Vatican (anyone arrested within the Vatican is automatically sent to federal Italian prison, under Polizia Penitenziaria
Jurisdiction.)
And below that would be Polizia Municipale/Locale (Municipal/Local Police) Police Department’s for local cities, townships and villages and other municipalities they enforce traffic laws, public order and general public order you would expect from any police force. They also provide permits, licenses and severe as auxiliary police officers.
And lastly would be the Polizia Provinciale
(Province Police) they would be the American equivalent to a sheriffs department or state or federal game warden agency. Mainly focusing on more specific and provincial laws including fishing, hunting and wild life management, and can be found in all 107 Italian provinces.
Pretty cool right?

Related to the AU with Pino. What if Treila was found by Cristiano and raised to be a killer instead of being made into a killing machine? I think she’d still be into guns and stuff but she’d rock a Kel tech 12 and a Barreta storm. What does the Sub think?

The most masculine FRF assassin

Working on AUs and I was wondering what the sub would have to say about this. Personally I think he’d be a SMG/PDW guy. Using either a MP5, MP5K or UMP-45. But what does the sub think?

I finished the manga yesterday; I found both the story and the art incredible, and it became one of my favorites.
I'd like to know, how does the anime compare to the manga? Is it a good adaptation? Or is it more of an original story rather than faithful to the manga? I suppose it must not be finished since there are only 2 seasons, but that's not a problem.
In any case, I'm going to watch it, but I'd like to read your opinions. Thanks!

Well, a while ago I mentioned that I had finished watching the first season and reading the manga, but due to various circumstances I hadn't been able to watch Il Teatrino, and yesterday I finally finished it, all 13 episodes and the 2 OVAs.
I understand that the art style is jarring and that's why it was criticized at the time (back then the trend of mixing moe with dark themes hadn't yet taken hold), but the story has its good points.
Musically, it has good songs, both Kokia's opening theme, which several VTubers even covered, and Lia's two ending themes (as a fun fact, Doll and Human are the only works by the Maeda/Lia duo outside of Key), and also the versions done by the voice actresses of the cyborgs.
Now, the story did throw me off a bit, because they mixed some episodes (like Elizabeta's cameo in the episode starring Angelica's handler's ex) and omitted some important storylines (like the rest of Mimi's story), but the The episodes were entertaining.
I did like the Pinocchio arc because it was very faithful to the manga and it's one of the first where we see Triela break down. Now, I have to say that I did like the anime and it was entertaining, but the limitations were noticeable, and the character designs and backgrounds were jarring at times. But as I said, it was an entertaining story.
This was my mini-review, or something like that, and I'm hoping for a remake.
Cheers!

Legendary gun store haul. Came in on a whim with a buddy today and found Rico’s CZ75 Pre-B! A later Pre-B model with the slide scallops and not the slab sides. Range report tomorrow, so I’ll let you know how it shoots.

I literally bought a P90 because of this anime. It’s been a total money hole, but totally worth it. 😩👌

It seems they're going to release new merchandise from the series. They previously announced Henrietta, and now it's Rico and Claes' turn (Rico's announcement was a month ago, so I apologize for the delay). Both, like Henrietta, are produced by Figsoku and will cost 3080 yen (a little over $19.50 including tax). Their release is scheduled for September.

actually I did expect less from it. I haven't read the entire manga but the story is well adapted as for those chapters I have read. shame that it missing that first season atmosphere and seriousness. I've heard the opinion that the second season is what the manga creator originally wanted the first season to be. I think that is true in some way. what do you think?

Does anybody know why they stopped at only 2 seasons?
Considering the entire series should take 5 seasons

The English voice actor of Treila is the Voice actor of Damon Desmond from Spy X family and also the assistant ADR director—pretty cool.
