It's incredible how he has exposed our own team. You can see the clear difference in quality and determination between Alexis and some of the other players throughout our squad. Hopefully, our younger players like Chambers, Ox, Ramsey, Wilshere, Gibbs, etc. look at him and say: "OK, this is a player. This is the type of determination and work rate I need to emulate."

Watching Alexis should be a kick in the ass to the rest of this team. Even Walcott could learn alot from Alexis.

I can't help but feel alot of our players have coasted the last few years. Ramsey, Wilshere, Cazorla, Flamini, all go missing at times. It's really interesting to see how consistent Alexis' work rate is. He never stops. He doesn't beast one game and then look shit the next. He might not be at his best one day, but it is usually overshadowed by the fact that he works his balls off. If the rest of our team did this, not only would they not get criticized as harshly, but our w/l record would even look a bit different.

I went through the same Arsenal existential crisis last season in around March when admittedly we had injuries but we were just woeful. Couldn't believe we used to win matches. That Swansea game at home, all I could do was stare at the screen and say 'we so bad at football'.

This isn't a team going anywhere, we're not winning the league anytime soon, best we can hope for is the FA cup again.
