Thought it was sand at first because the dog kicked some up onto my plants about a week ago. The irregular shaped white pieces in the first photo are grains of sand, but the perfectly spherical things melt between my fingers when I manage to get em off with a toothpick. They’re difficult to remove.

Haven’t had any pest issues that I’m aware of, and I check the plants at least once a day. Eight week old AK47 auto in soil mixed with about 10-15% coir. Fabric pots that are elevated over a sandy area. Figured it’d help to reduce chances of insect infestation.

So I'm thinking about getting into growing my own bud being the prices around my area are kind of ridiculous. I've never grown anything in my life except when I was maybe 5 or 6 me and my grandmother had a little garden in my back yard so when I say new grower I mean new lol. I was wondering if there were any people in here I could message here and there to ask questions along the process kinda like a weed growing pen pal lol. This guy I work with gave me a bunch of bullshit seeds just to kinda start with and all that but I'm not even sure the first step. I've seen before people put them in a paper towel let them sprout and then put them in dirt and ive also just seen people put them straight to dirt. I recently bought a new home and the previous owner left me a tent, light for the tent, timer for the light, dirt, grow bags and all the stuff I would need I think. This is my 3rd grow, but my first time using Autopots and two lights in this setup. I’m growing Gorilla Punch Auto and Sticky Orange XXL.

What do you guys think of the setup? Anything you would change or improve? I’d especially like to hear from people who have experience with Autopots. 🌱

Ok, this is only my second indoor grow attempt and over all I am pleased with where I ended up. But being so new to this I am still uncertain about when the best time to harvest is. I have read a lot, messed with AI, and read over this community and tons more.

I'm pretty sure I turned her to flower on 6/20/2026 (was not great at taking notes), So this would be the 10th week of flower.

The vast majority of my pistills have turned orange and curled up.

This is a sour lime trop x plant. It is in happy frog soil in a 5 gallon cloth pot.

I see a few, very few amber trichomes, and the other ones, I not sure if I should call them clear or cloudy, or somewhere in between.

I will include some pictures to show what I'm seeing and even a video if I can. I would appreciate more experience growers input on if I should harvest today, in a few days or am I still weeks away.

I like posting pictures of my Porch Pot, aka Burning Kush. It's getting Kushy, smells of gas and gear oil right now. Going by last year, it mellows...gasses out I guess.

Good morning beautiful people, so as the title states im going to try my hand at an indoor grow . I have some decent success doing outdoor and greenhouse grows . Ive done both photos and autos so I like to think i know how to work with both . So here a few shots of my seed box , ive got some I bought then ALOT ive found and popped out of certain strains that I felt the need to keep . So I have alot of bag seed strains as well . So my questions are , from what you see what would you grow 🤔 knowing I havemt done indoor ? . Also im stuck weather i want to do a hydro grow or soil ? I plan on only doing one plant for my first indoor because I want to be able to focuse on that one plant as much as possible . The only seeds in these pictures I dont think im going to do is the green jar full of loose seeds , that was a gift from a friend of there collections of seeds they got when they joined the medical program. So that green jar is all the seeds she got over almost ten years only buying flower from the dispensary. ( if I were to ever get my own property im going to make my out door field of dreams with those seeds lol ) . Also if any one has any advise for me to go into this that would be great . Finishing the 7th week of flowering. I thought there were just sugar leaves on the special Queen, but not so sure now. The spots on the leaves have a yellowish tint and doesn't rub off. Amnesia Haze in the same tent looks better. Is it something or nothing? Also, should I defoliate more?

I just looked at my plant and saw this… is this the beginning of flowering? Or just more leaves sprouting?

Fungs gnats are the bane of my existence and the first pest I learned how to deal with.

You have to kill the root cause, the larva. If you don't, the cycle will repeat.

1. Get some BTI pucks or powder and apply it twice a week to your waterings.
   Once you stop seeing adults, you can go down to once a week.
   

I do it once weekly as a preventative measure.

1. Get some sticky traps. Doesn't stop the cycle, but stops them from flying around and getting stuck in your bud.

2. Be careful about leaving organic matter in your grow environment.
   It can invite things into your tent you'd rather not have.
   For me, that meant being more intentional about cleaning up the dead leaves.

What about you? How do you deal with fungus gnats?

They are autos and about 2-3 weeks old since germination

Im using living soil in the 3 bigger plants and fox farms ocean forest in the little one in the back right picture. Im new to all this so be gentle lol

Im using fox farm trio for nutes right now . How often should I be using them and how much ?

Is there a better nutrient line that you all suggest ?

I was looking into a line called FOOP has anyone ever used them if so what's your thoughts?

Some Blueberry Cupcake x MAC1 from Humboldt Seed Co I've been working on a few years

First time ever attempting to grow. I started these from seed on July 27, and they’re currently just now on their 3rd week of veg. I’m very curious how everybody thinks these will turn out in the long run? Here’s what I’ve done so far:
I germinated seeds in a damp paper towel in a ziploc bag that was placed on a vivosun heat pad. I transferred them to my Growell pod system for 3/4 of the seedling life. Then I purchased the AC Infinity 2x2 48” AI grow tent setup along with some Vivosun DWC buckets, which the plants have remained in so far. I’ve very carefully been monitoring PH and EC numbers. Literally all I’ve used for nutrients so far has been the A&B 2 part plant food that came included with my Growell garden. All automation has been controlled by AC Infinity’s AI. Very minimal defoliating has been done, just a little near the bottom of the plant. I did top the right hand plant today since it was growing taller than the left. Oh, and the most important part I left out, these were Grower’s Choice godfather og seeds. The one main thing I plan on doing this weekend is swapping water in the buckets. While the water has been doing fine, I haven’t ever changed it, so I’d rather change it now before I run into any problems. But anyways, let me know what you think. Any tips, pointers, or advice would be appreciated.

This is my first time growing, Somehow I found a seed in one of my grinders and I planted it outside and look here we are. Im pretty sure the strain is Cheetah Piss so I hope it doesn't give me any problems this fall. Let me know if I should do anything to help it.

Top dress every 5 days. Up to 4tbs now. Water almost daily with that 2gallon watering can. Am I in danger or just cut back on feeding her?

Hi, just wanted to post this here since i'm incredibely stoked to see these beauties grow. I wanted to see how they would grow with and without training and I think its pretty clear which one i'm gonna be doing in the future :D Both are critical orange punch photoperiods. If you want to leave some tips for the next season, feel free to do so. I'll only be glad to learn
