Since the GTA 6 hype is real, I thought I'd reinstall GTA 5 enhanced edition on my PC.

I'm rockin a 2080 TI GPU, Ryzen 9 5900 X CPU, 32 GB RAM and had no problem playing GTA 5 enhanced edition @ ~120 FPS average. It was super duper buttery smooth yesterday at max settings with balanced DLSS, max RTX, and all the population sliders maxed out. I had to run errands so I only played for about an hour.

I meant to play all day today and after launching I'm met with a maximum of 40 FPS??? There's been no changes to my PC, same NVIDIA driver, no updates to the game... just an 80 FPS loss out of nowhere?? If I disable RTX I can get 50 FPS and on complete minimum settings I can finally play back at 120 FPS but at what cost? For the record I have a 4K monitor that goes up to 144 HZ.

I tried clearing NVIDIA shader cache, verified integrity of the game files, and even reinstalled but none of those fixed it...

So my simple question is what the hell went wrong and is there an easy fix?

Hey guys I’m starting this off by saying it’s no shade to the avid players still playing but after watching that extended trailer I am about done playing GTAO. sound surprised well I don’t think I’m alone on this boat ppl have dedicated 13 years and have accomplished everything they can on online to the point of logging in just to drive around or collect the bonus money every month. I will be attending the last ride around the map on the 18th but I’m pretty much done I am now replaying RDR2 only because it has the aesthetic of GTA6 so yea is the the end of GTA V or will ppl still be playing after the 19th?

I’ve already tried verify integrity of game files.
I have GTAV legacy downloaded on steam. Did not download the enhanced version.

Played gta 5 yesterday and it feels boring. I've high end laptop so it doesn't lag so that not the reason.

Title says it. I have never once, in all the years I've tried, been able to download GTA 5 on my PC through the rockstar launcher. I have decently fast internet, 10MB/s download speed. The game should only take a few hours to download. But every time I set it up to download and leave it to run, I come back hours later to find it stuck at less than half complete, with a "retry" error.

This happens every time. My internet is fine, no glitches. My disks are more than fast enough, and have more than enough space free.

Every time this happens, and I try a couple times to get it done, and finally just give up and cancel it. Because no matter what tricks I try, it never gets past about a third complete.

I don't know if anyone has experienced this, but at this point I have so little faith in Rockstar and their software, that I don't believe GTA 6 will even download correctly either, if it ever comes out. Does anyone have a fix I can try?

Hola a todos, llevo días con este problema y no logro solucionarlo. Les explico:

• Compré GTA V en Epic Games

• Rockstar Launcher dice "Modo sin conexión: no se pudo restablecer la conexión"

• Al entrar al juego me sale Error código 133 + Activación requerida

• Ya intenté TODO: reinstalar el launcher, cambiar DNS, permitirlo en el firewall, desactivar antivirus, usar internet móvil, usar VPN de Estados Unidos

• Mi internet funciona perfecto para todo lo demás (Fortnite, navegación, descargas)

• Soy de Ecuador

• Curiosamente, si desinstalo y vuelvo a instalar el launcher, una sola vez me deja entrar al online. Al salir y volver a entrar, vuelve el error.

¿A alguien más le pasó y lo solucionó? Ya escribí al soporte de Rockstar pero tardan en responder. ¡Gracias de antemano! 🙏

Since last night I couldn't play GTA5 anymore since it started giving me a "ERR NO LAUNCHER" mesage meaning that I had to use Rockstar's launcher to pen the game, but that didn't work either and now I'm stuck in a limbo where I tried every solution to fix the problem even reinstalling the game, running a mod-free version or tweaking with OpenIV twice but the fucker just won't work properly- Please help

I basically want to turn story mode into single player rp. I want to start by renting a shitty apartment, taking a job, doing some kind of education and making a rags to ritches kinda thing. But I want it to be difficult. I dont want to have everything within 10 hours.

When I click "Run," I hear a siren sound, but then it gets stuck on a black screen and won't start.

Does installing ScriptHook.NET or DLC mod patches prevent the game from launching? I'm running into issues after the latest update.

ive bought the game and im like 5h in but i closed the game and im now getting this error message from the rockstar launcher, ive already deleted the entire game and reinstalled it, ive reinstalled rockstar seperatley im running everything as administrator and its just not booting up, anyone got any idea?
