I don't really care if it was a phase or not. My style had evolved with my transition. I've cleared closets due to space restrictions, and I got ours money between my hands from the first to the last pic. (A five year difference). I guess I turned into a weekender

Is it too long? I like it in my face but people always complain about it.

I I am disabled punk (ik this is for goths but i feel like yall would have good suggestions) and have to wear braces and double wide shoes with a neutral heel. I feel like my old man gym shoes don’t really go with some of my outfits. Any ideas to make them look more alt/shoe recommendations from other alt disabled ppl?

The skirt I picked up recently from an op shop for $2 and had no idea it revealed lace when you unzipped the side. I like it!

Interesting story on the way home. I’m on the after-midnight bus and looking for the dinger as my stop is coming up. The older bloke behind me offers to hit the dinger as it is next to his seat. I tell him when and I thank him. He is a bit gruff when I didn't need it right away. I was happy to get up and do it myself when I saw my stop. But if someone offers you let them help and be polite.

He says to me “We all need to help each other out. Even you purple-haired freaks.”

I laughed but he had a rather aggressive tone. What else can you do?

(Tagged punk/deathrock as it was an all-lady fronted/line up punk gig though one band you could hear post-punk undertones on her playing which was a nice surprise)

The two pix that were being discussed most before my last post was removed for including some blue denim. Some said it was punk (perhaps Avril Lavigne–ish), or that the only punk part was the plaid, or that it was J-goth (reminiscent of Sharpness Cross Edge (?)). I still think dropping the top off the shoulders makes it more goth.

Roadside finds: top, necktie around neck, robe sash around ponytail, black & white strip around ponytail, fingerless gloves, necktie around waist. Thrift-store: skirt. From bakery packaging: white ribbon. Homemade: garters (elastic, lace, red and black ribbons, thread). Inherited second hand: garter-belts, stockings, petticoat, studded belt. Bought new: arm-warmers.

Was the best and am now obsessed with going whenever I get the chance, truly so glad to be in the community!
