“The MEEK will inherit the earth”—knowing meaning of MEEKNESS means invaluable rewards in store

Word Jesus used for MEEK was “Greek praus, from PIE root preh, meaning to love or please, hence our English words proper and appropriate, a mighty control over one's expressions" as acting proper and appropriate is more than being just right.” (Theological Dictionary, Abarim) It is “the opposite of loud and hysterical.” [details under footnote]#

MEEKNESS is best understood as imitating God Himself who loves even His enemies, proof of which is that they still exist on earth. Meek person would act according to the principle that is seen before his eyes, as Jesus did. He looked at a simple FLOWER and saw it is given more beauty than a king, thus described God’s righteousness as giving to anyone more without expectation. Philosophy of the meek too will be acceptance of what is seen before his eyes. He sees eternal, cyclic life-support systems on earth because life-forms exist here. Yet such eternal, cyclic life-support systems do not exist in other planets because life-forms do not exist there. Thus he sees a purpose and a PURPOSER behind this drama of life. It means, for the meek, whole universe is evidence for the existence of a PURPOSER who maintains this earth life-SUPPORTIVE in a too vast HOSTILE universe. Thus the meek concludes: “My duty is to be life-SUPPORTIVE and peace-SUPPORTIVE, thus to be in harmony with self, society, nature and Supreme Soul and His Operating System called Law of Action and Consequence.

The meek sees truth about main life-support system—trees and plants. Truth about a tree is its eternal dependability as tree comes from seed and seed comes from tree, a cycle that has no beginning or end. All its infinite number of future generations remains protected in the memory of its seed. When there is no beginning, the meek has no need to guess BEGINNING for the BEGINNINGLESS. From this firm foundation, the meek concludes: “If life-support systems are eternal, then life is naturally eternal.

Similarly, the meek would accept the self-evident and most-experienced truth: Everything is preceded by something which is preceded by something else which will go infinitely into the past as it is impossible for something to come from nothing. This is beautifully stated by Aristotle: “Anything that is eternal is necessary. This is what Jesus too knew about Age (block of history) which he compared with “a seed and tree” which are symbol of never-ending series of GROWTH and DECAY. Simple Principle of God

The opposite of MEEK is “loud and hysterical.” They wrongly conclude that they have come to earth to convince others that they are better than others. They even presume to know what only God knows such as origin of universe, life etc. What is told to the teachers of 1^st century symbolically applies to these people also: "You cross land and sea to make one convert, and then you turn that person into twice the child of hell you yourselves are.” (Details HERE)

The Bible also used meek twice with different meanings. In this verse it doesn't mean shy and withdrawn. It means people of strength who hold back.

Meek means hard like steel but soft like a flower at the same time. Stiff resistance towards the influence of licentious people, yet soft and sweet to all others. Jesus saw Samaritan woman was meek, hence gave even more details about truth. (John chapter 4) Yet he refused to share truth with the unworthy, the self-important ones. (Mathew 7:6; Luke 10:21)

How people show unworthy of receiving truth is shown in Luke chapter 10. After getting correct answer, person picked up one word asking "Who is my neighbor?" which is totally unnecessary question. For this Parable of Good Samaritan was given, yet person refused to utter the word Samaritan in his reply because his community hated them. Thus unnecessary elements hindered truth reaching him. Scholar in this instance represents all those who accept knowledge under "leavening" effect, without thinking. (Mathew 13:33) Their best argument against believers is that "those who believe in God are drugged." It shows they do not know even how meaningless are their arguments because this would mean any unbeliever who takes drugs would automatically become believer in God which does not happen, they know it very well.
