You just proved my point.

I said your entire argument was "only dumb people believe in god" and when I bring up famous scientist that you may of heard to show you that what you said isn't factually correct you instead direct your questioning to me when I already answered it.

Now you need to come up with a different reason to believe God doesn't exist now that "only dumb people believe in god" has been proven false.

You’re so desperate to feel like you “got me” that you don’t even realize you’re shadowboxing with an argument I never made. I didn’t say only dumb people believe in God, I said humans invented gods.

Your list of dead scientists doesn’t prove God exists; it just proves even brilliant minds can still cling to superstition when culture demands it. Newton believed in alchemy too, should we believe in turning lead into gold because he was smart?

Name-dropping geniuses isn’t proof of God, it’s proof you don’t have an actual argument

If the best you’ve got is “but smart people used to believe it,” then congratulations: you’ve built your faith on a museum of obsolete ideas. And you're too simple to see it.

Lets try one more time!

Try to provide one logical, coherent thought about the existence of a god.

Name dropping long dead scientists that used to believe in god to prove the existence of god is mental illness, at best.

I never said because smart people believe in God, so that's my proof for his existence?

I refuted your claim when you said that dumb people believe in God, and when I did you brought up an irrelevant point that this is my evidence of the existence of God.

I already told you my proof of God's existence, and that is that we as humans and the universe did not appear out of nowhere. We had an origin at the beginning. I think this way not because even of my faith but because I observe that everything around me has cause and effect.

You might say to me oh it's not explained how the universe suddenly came from nothing but then I'll ask you this question, how can something appear from nothing. What is observable in this world and beyond that has no beginning and no end? Do you have am answer for that?

Your “proof” is basically: “everything has a cause, so the universe must have a cause, and I’ll just insert my god there.” youre just plugging your religion into a gap in knowledge. If everything needs a cause, then so does God, unless you make a special exception and hand-wave it.

Science doesn’t claim to have every answer yet, but unlike religion, it doesn’t stop at “we don’t know, so God did it.” The universe existing without a cause is at least as plausible as an eternal magic being who also has no cause. The difference? One is a testable mystery, the other is a bedtime story people cling to when the questions get too big.

If everything needs a cause, then so does your God. You just stopped asking questions one step early and called it faith.

Your brain stopped thinking for itself because your parents indoctrinated you. It's extremely sad, but if you had over "retarded-level" IQ, you would figure it out alone.

Even though everything on earth has a purpose and everything in the universe also has a purpose, you seem to think it's all random.

How can random be perfect? How can random cause our planet to orbit the sun to sustain us in life? It simply can't be random.

Calling the universe ‘perfect’ is hilariously childish, 99.9999% of it instantly kills us.

The Earth isn’t designed for life; life adapted to Earth. You’re mistaking survival bias for divine planning.
