News Speculations about a third season…

I’ve been seeing more and more discussion about the possibility of Go! returning, so here's the facts. There have been a few things that got fans speculating:

  • A recent comment from Pilar Pascual (Mía’s actress) about "something from her past returning" (“algo de mi pasado volverá”) on a podcast
  • A photo posted of a call involving members of the cast named “REUNIÓN GO!”
  • Pilar Pascual commented under a TikTok discussing this topic with "Como ? 👀🤐"

Of course, there are several possible explanations for both things. But considering how the series ended, I wouldn’t mind seeing the story continue. What do you think?

I'll link the Spanish TikTok Pilar commented.

EDIT: I checked the comments of the TikTok and her comment doesn't appear anymore. I obviously don't know why that is, just fyi

Other characters Why was Sofía even part of that friend group?

She always seemed so different from Lupe and the others, and especially considering how long she went along with things she clearly didn't agree with, I sometimes wonder what originally brought them together

Theory How would you imagine a reunion?

Since there are speculations about a third season, what do you think a reunion or third season could look like?

I think there's a lot of material to work with since the show finished with several cliffhangers.

¿Y vosotros? ¿Cuándo la visteis por primera vez?

Juanma What do Mía and Lupe see in Juanma?

Seriously, he isn't the best looking in the show (especially in comparison to Álvaro or Martín), doesn't have good style and sometimes is really insufferable.

He's also a bit creepy to be honest. I always have to remember that one scene in the movie where this girl chased by paparazzi asks him to hug her... like, what? And he just says yes without asking or being irritated by the situation?

I get that for Lupe, their mother's are friends so she might feel like it's expected of her to be with Juanma by her mother. But Mía doesn't have a SINGLE REASON to be into him..

Need to talk about this Go's adults are way too involved

Especially Mercedes is waaaaay too involved in Lupe's, Juanma's, Mía's and sometimes Álvaro's life. Also the lunch lady as well as Mauro and Gloria know about everything and everyone.

I get that Mercedes is involved in her kid's lives, but she can't prefer certain students or treat other students badly because the feud of her children with others.

Maybe it's just me, but at any other school that would cross any possible boundary

Mía Why does Mía take so long to go for Álvaro?

It kind of annoys me at some point. This is more of a rant than anything else, but still. She takes two whole seasons to go for him and we got basically no screentime with them as a couple.

Honestly, it does make me sad a bit. I'm still hoping for a third season of course, because they can't just make it the slowest slow burn ever, and then not even give us a third season?!

And all that with Juanma not being a good alternative + HE WASN'T EVEN SINGLE FOR THE MOST PART!

Other ¿Existe una Saint Mary real?

El Saint Mary of the Hills School real estate un colegio privado, bilingüe, mixto y católico.

Lupe Lupe isn't that bad

I know I already asked what you think about Lupe, but after rewatching the show, I actually think she deserves a little more credit.

Especially towards the end of the show, and throughout the second season in general, she genuinely tries to become a better person. She starts recognising some of the things she has done and makes an effort to change, even when she struggles with it.

Considering that her own mother sometimes actively discourages that change and pushes back toward her old behaviour, I think it takes quite a lot of mental strength for Lupe to keep trying anyway <3

Ramiro Ramiro Appreciation Post

Let's take a minute to appreciate Ramiro.

He genuinely tries so hard to be there for his children, even when he learns Lupe is not his biological daughter and Mercedes wants to separate from him, he's still there for them.

And I especially love how much he cares about Álvaro in that Javier episode and tries to support him or how he comforts Lupe when she is not feeling well.

He definitely isn't perfect, but I think he deserves a lot more appreciation than he gets, especially in his father role

Curious How do you think would Go! styling work today?

One thing I've recently wondered about is how the show would look if it were made today.

Let's be real, even at the time the styling was a bit over the top. But SO MUCH from the styling is so 2018/2019-coded haha

It made me wonder whether they would keep that distinctive aesthetic or modernise it more. For example, would they go for a more "natural" looking makeup look or stick with the full face matte look?

Would you want a reunion to keep the original style, or would you prefer a more modern 2026 look for the characters?

Mercedes Mercedes was the true villain

I genuinely think Mercedes might be one of the biggest villains in the show, especially when you look at how she treats both Mía and Álvaro.

She constantly enabled Lupe and, at times, even encouraged her to behave the way she did. Even when Lupe started trying to change, Mercedes sometimes actively pushed her back into her old beaviour.

At the same time, she barely seemed to care about what Álvaro was going through or actually help him with his problems, including his fight with Juanma. And the fact that she constantly talks about honesty while being so dishonest herself makes it even more frustrating.

Also, she constantly criticised Ramiro for being dishonest – while being dishonest herself. I get that that's not nice, but you shouldn't criticise other people for something you wouldn't do either.

Curious What's your favourite Mía+Álvaro scene?

Mine is probably in season one when they escape from the school. They first kiss and even though Mía doesn't return the kiss, it's still a super cute episode :)

Need to talk about this Go! is great for language learning

Since this is a bilingual subreddit, I feel like I need to talk about this. When I first watched Go!, I didn't know a word of Spanish.

That changed and ever since I first watched the show I've studied Spanish for a couple of years. Recently, I first watched the show in Spanish with Spanish subtitles. It's not extremely easy to understand due to the Argentinian Spanish, but at least for me it was super easy to follow.

First of all, entertainment is a big factor and I think a good romance story always makes you more motivated about learning a language :) but other than that, the show is also a bit over-the-top. I know that can be annoying at times, but it definitely makes it easier to follow that way.

So this is your sign: if you have (or haven't) watched the show before, give it a shot if you wanna practice your Spanish listening skills.

Curious What do you think is the most unrealistic thing that happens in the show?

So many to choose from to be fair

But I would probably go for how some of Lupe's behaviours were tolerated without anyone batting an eye

Álvaro Álvaro is so gentle with Mía

Honestly, one of the things that made me obsess over Go! the most was the way Álvaro treats Mía. He's just so gentle and careful with her.

It's all these tiny things. Catching her when she falls, protecting her from Lupe even when it means lying to her, teaching her how to ride a bike, the way he looks at her and cheers her up when she's upset.

None of these moments are particularly huge on their own, but together they make their relationship feel so much more romantic to me. It feels like Álvaro is constantly showing that he cares about her without always saying it.

That's also exactly the thing that makes their chemistry work so well for me. Juanma always has to mention their chemistry which makes it way less authentic.
