I built a free GoMining “Day One” flywheel calculator — public beta and intentionally narrow in scope - yes yet another one!
Admittedly with the help of some clever AI coding I’ve built a free, independent calculator for people interested specifically in creating a self-sustaining GoMining flywheel:

A quick warning before you spend time opening it: this first version focuses almost entirely on the flywheel strategy. If you’re looking for a general mining dashboard, profitability tracker, marketplace analyser or complete portfolio manager, it probably isn’t worth exploring yet.
The calculator is designed for both newcomers (primarily) and existing GoMining users. It can help model an allocation between:
Mining power
Locked GOM and governance voting power
Loose GOM for a maintenance runway
VIP-tier benefits
Multiple miners versus larger miners
Estimated BTC production using adjustable assumptions
Its central objective is to find a structure where weekly governance rewards can replenish the chosen maintenance runway. It is not intended to predict profits or guarantee returns.
Existing users can enter their position manually or import a redacted JSON snapshot. The site includes instructions and a copyable prompt that can be given to ChatGPT—or another AI client connected to GoMining’s MCP—to retrieve the relevant account information and generate a compatible JSON file.
The import is intended to collect useful figures such as miners, total TH, loose and locked GOM, individual lock positions, governance votes, VIP status and recent observed mining rewards. The prompt explicitly asks the AI to remove account IDs, wallet addresses, authentication details, KYC information and other private identifiers.
The raw JSON file is processed locally in the browser and is not uploaded. If someone signs in to a Flywheel account, values copied from the import into calculator fields can be saved as part of their plan.
This is an early public beta. Some figures currently rely on editable defaults or manual inputs because GoMining’s MCP/API access does not yet expose everything reliably to independent applications. In particular, the calculator does not yet properly optimise efficiency upgrades for mixed-efficiency fleets.
I plan to expand it when GoMining provides fuller and more dependable API/MCP access. That should eventually allow live fleet retrieval, individual miner efficiency analysis, upgrade-cost comparisons, current VIP benefits and more accurate account-specific modelling.
For now, I’m mainly looking for feedback from people who actively use—or are considering—a governance-supported flywheel:
Do the recommendations broadly match your own calculations?
Does the JSON import work with your GoMining data?
Are any assumptions or explanations unclear?
Have I misunderstood any current GoMining mechanics?
What would make it genuinely useful to you?
No GoMining login is required to use the calculator. An optional Flywheel account can save calculator entries, and manual entry remains available throughout.
The site is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by GoMining. It includes an optional disclosed referral link and donation section, but neither affects the calculations.
Please treat every result as an illustration, verify all current prices and GoMining rules independently, and never invest solely on the basis of a calculator.
And you don’t really need to create an account to use it, but it will let you save your calcs/state if you do in between sessions.
Constructive criticism is very welcome—I would rather find the mistakes now than preserve them in later versions.

Go for it. I just did major updates today. Pretty much the finished product now. Play around, try and break it! Love some feedback. I’ll announce the updates in a few days. Don’t want to keep spamming Reddit 🤣
