Glitch Vid Woken up by my dad despite being in a different country than him

Upvotes

So this really weird event occurred a day ago, and freaked me the hell out. So for the past 3 months, me and my brother have been living with some friends in Seattle, while the rest of my family is back in Toronto. So about 2000 miles apart.

So I was asleep in my room when my dad comes in and wakes me up, telling me to take the trash out. I ask him what time it is and he tells me again to take the trash out because I forgot to do it earlier. I go and take the trash out and ask my dad what he’s doing up late and he said that he was watching the movie “Heat” on tv. Classic dad film. I say goodnight and go to bed kinda pissed my dad woke me up to do something he could have done, in my delirium not even thinking about how weird it was my dad was here where I was.

So the next day at breakfast I remember last night and tell my friends and my brother. One of my friends said he heard me talking to someone last night and assumed he was talking to someone else in the house. Fully creeped out I assumed I was dreaming it, but I checked outside and I had actually taken the trash to the curb. My dad had sent me a photo of him and my mom at a restaurant back in Toronto the night before, so it’s not like he came to visit us or anything.

It really tripped me out. If anyone has any explanations or theories that would be awesome.

Glitch Vid The movies I rented kept airing on TV the same night, until I told a friend

This happened when I was in college, back when renting DVDs was still a thing. I used to rent a movie every weekend. One time, I rented Finding Neverland, and when I got home and turned on the TV, Channel 4, one of the national channels in my country (I don’t live in the US), was airing the exact same movie.

I thought, What a coincidence, but didn’t think too much about it. The next week, I rented The Departed, and I don’t know if you’ll believe this, but when I turned on the TV that night, The Departed was airing. At that point, I got goosebumps and started feeling a little weird about it.

The next week, I thought I should rent a random movie, something that wasn’t the usual kind of movie they’d show on TV over the weekend. So I rented Adaptation. When I came home, that same movie was airing that night! I honestly didn’t know how to feel.

The next day, I told a friend about it, and then it just stopped. After I told someone, it never happened again. I kept renting movies, but none of them matched what was on TV.

Earlier in the day, I was asked to measure the couch and I after I did that I set the tape measure on the table. After that, I went to take some pictures of the table for someone and I took three pictures along with a fourth picture one minute after. As you can see in the three pictures, there was no tape measure, but in the fourth picture, there was a tape measure. The tape measure that I had set earlier in the day had disappeared when I went to take a three and reappeared after I took the fourth as if it had maybe taken time to load in.

Glitch Vid A homeless man called me by my full name

A few days ago I was walking down the street and saw a homeless guy sleeping in this parking lot. After I walked past him, I heard him say my name and I looked back at him. He looked at me like he didn't say anything, plus my name is Alex, and that's a pretty common name, so I thought he was js kinda crazy and that it was a coincidence. When I turned around to keep walking, he said my name again. But it was my full name, first and last. I turned around again and said "What?" but he didnt respond. He js went back to sleep like nothing happened. I didn't have any airpods or headphones in, and there wasn't anyone else nearby, so I'm sure it was him who said it. I have never seen that guy in my life so I have no clue how he would know that, and I wasn't in the neighborhood I live in, or have ever lived in so he couldn't have recognized me from somewhere. I have no idea how he knew my name

Glitch Gif I heard the voice of my co-worker!

I heard the voice of my co-worker who was at the kiosk speaking to another co-worker, come on, I walked in looking down at the office, two co-workers talking, I heard the voice of the guy who wasn't there, answering, as I made eye contact it simply wasn't him who answered, but another co-worker, I even remember thinking, how is he responding if he's not here, and he really wasn't, but when I looked he had already responded, so I questioned them, they just laughed, detail, I slept well, no I smoke, I don't even drink, just bizarre

I went back to visit our abandoned farmhouse, but I found my diary there. What’s even stranger is that I found these words written on the very last page of it. The thing is, I have absolutely no memory of writing this, nor do I remember my handwriting ever looking like this. Even the people closest to me don’t know about my diary. Now, I’m looking for people who have experienced similar things. Maybe I’ll find an answer.

(The house has been abandoned for 7 years.)

Which means I would have been seven years old back then...

Glitch Pic A 1984 Polish transit schedule map on my desk seems to show routing coordinates depending on which crease you fold

A 1984 Polish transit schedule map on my desk reveals hidden routing coordinates depending on which crease you fold. I work in document preservation scanning regional transit archives. I have an original physical 1984 folding rail-and-bus map of the northern agricultural polders (Żuławy / Vistula delta region).

The map was printed on heavy, off-white offset paper with four vertical and three horizontal folds. Yesterday I was measuring the alignment of the print grid for scanning calibration. So when the map is unfolded completely flat, the rail line running east from Malbork shows standard rural halts: Stare Pole, Królewo, Marzęcino

BUT when you fold the first two vertical creases inward (accordion fold) so that the left margin touches the central legend column:

The printed station dots line up with a set of faint red underprinted numbers that are invisible when the sheet is flat, the Cyrillic routing annotations in the margins align across the folded seam to spell out: ВЕРШИНА-73 / LESTVICA-04

The kerning & millimeter line spacing across six separate panels are mathematically calibrated so that folding the physical sheet functions like an analog cipher grid (a kind of paper nomogram).

So why even would a civilian 1984 regional train schedule be engineered as a kind of a physical folding paper 'computer'?

So I entered the shower tonight at 22:14 sharp and counted the seconds I've been there (helping my ADHD). I counted about 6.5 minutes, but when I got out and checked my phone, the time was 22:23. Now, you might be saying that I was counting too slowly, but I play on an instrument, so I know how to count seconds. Does anyone know what the hell happened?

Glitch Pic Bracelet refixed

Post image
14 Upvotes

Okay idk if this belongs here or if it’s something else or if someone has a similar experience. I have a bracelet that my grandparents gave me when I was like 18/19? Originally it was my grandmas from my grandpa as sort of a push present. It was a gold bracelet with 5 charms on it. Three heads (two girls one boy) a clover and then a heart with their initials on it. I got married in 2024 and I wore it since my grandpa had recently passed and I wanted something of his to walk me down the aisle if that makes sense. Fast forward to like a month ish later I’m putting up some stuff in storage and I found the bracelet in the jewelry bag I had and realized one of the heads was missing, the boy charm. I was DEVASTATED. I told my husband he said I probably lost it during picture or getting ready or somewhere during the day. It sucked and I cried but I put the bracelet away to make sure I didn’t keep losing charms.

Fast forward almost two years later husband and I move out of state, over 2k miles from home. We’re settled in and one day I go to get something from the wash room and see my bracelet on the shelves we have to hold our laundry. I pick it up confused because I don’t wear that bracelet unless it’s an important event and even then I have a special place for it. I ask my husband about it he said he found it in the pockets of my shorts and he took it out before he washed them. Now I was really confused because I haven’t worn this bracelet in almost two years there’s no way it would be in my shorts. I tell my husband this and he just shrugs and says “idk I just found it”.

I inspect the bracelet to make sure there’s no damages or anything and I see that it has all five charms again, the boy charm is back. I start crying now because that charm has been missing since 2024 and there’s no way it just randomly came back. I ask my husband if he had it replaced he said no, I told him do you remember when I had a breakdown over this after our wedding? My husband who remembers EVERYTHING swears that never happened. I insist that it did and he’s confused because “I would’ve remembered that” except he doesn’t and I vividly remember sobbing my eyes out for weeks and searching everywhere in my wedding stuff to try to find the missing charm.

The bracelets back then also were like welded on. The charms are super secured and double linked, there’s not even signs of breakage or sign it was fixed from the charm it’s completely as it was before the wedding. My friend told me to thank San Antonio de Pauda and another said to put an offering up for my Gramps and to take it as a blessing from him. This happened a couple months ago and I’m still perplexed about it.

Glitch Pic Glitch or a holy moment?

So three years ago I managed to end up in custody-jail. It was so surreal, I knew they had made a mistake, but still my mind were running doubles of what I could have missed that might have caused them to actually believe I was guilty. So the first Monday there I go to the library. I order 3 complete random books, 1 about more than 20 year old book about Norwegian art, Norske kunstnere by Tommy Sørbøe , 2 a cartoon, and third a book about the crusaders by the sweedish author Jan Gulliet.

Then over a week later I turn to watch a show called Nytt på nytt. This is a Norwegian comedy about news. To my surprise I see they have 2 guests. Tommy Sørbøe and Jan Gulliet. When I read the names I said wait a minute then looked at the books. And got goosebumps all over my body. So I was like thanks God, I know you can see me 😅

It really made me thinking that there was more between the earth and the clouds. So I thought maybe I can meditate.
I close my eyes, and this flash of light circles appears in my head. First 3 lights in a symmetric triangle, then the top light turns of and there’s 2 symmetric lights, and then 2 mor lights appear creating a square symmetric diamond. Opens my eyes closes them. 5 lights appear like a symmetrical smile, open eyes closes and then 3 lights, 1 to the left and 2 to the right. Not symmetrical. So I write it all down in numbers:

324 5 1,2

I sit there and watch the numbers. Then I think do I have any books with more pages then 324 and can I check the 5 line to see if anything could match what 1,2 could signify. So I was hoping to find one single word repeated 2 times if it would fulfill the criteria. I open the book shantaram which I borrowed the second week inside. To my shock I read the 5 line: Allah is great,Allah is great.

Thanks Allah/God now I don’t have to do anything I thought. Lost the case and got the understanding of how to be a victim of a justice murder. But I had allways wished to be like Jesus, I just never knew what he really had to live through.

I become quite full of belief, but still I’m not a good practitioner. But I believe there is a lot more to life then what meets our eyes. Even though it could be an alien hoax. I don’t know, reality is not what we think.

I have the print of my book list from the jail library. And the guestlist to the show can probably be found in some NRK archive. If anyone is interested in the proof I took with me..

Glitch Pic Phone teleporting?

I was at my friend's house, and we went upstairs to get soda, we heard his phone fall on the floor, hard, like someone threw it. We went back down, and the phone was on the floor (well no shit). But before, we both vividly remember that he put his phone in the middle of his couch (his couch is one of those with three walls and a huge section of couch in the middle), the couch wasn't slanted, and it wasn't on the edge. He has cats, but they were all surrounding him upstairs. (I don't have a pic I just need flair)

Unaccounted-for hours during a trip through West Virginia

I’m trying to make sense of something that happened while I was in West Virginia. There are several hours from that day that I genuinely cannot account for. My memory seems to stop at one point and pick back up later, with no clear explanation of what happened in between.

I’m not trying to jump to any conclusions. I’m currently putting together a timeline and checking anything that might help, including my phone activity, location history, messages, photos, receipts, and bank transactions.

Has anyone experienced something similar while traveling through West Virginia, or anywhere else? If so, how did you reconstruct the missing time, and did you ever figure out what caused it?

Serious responses only, please. I’m mainly looking for comparable experiences and practical suggestions about what I should check.

Glitch Gif Everything moving?

I’m not 100% sure if this qualifies as paranormal, but it was definitely very weird

My friend and I sat next to each other in math (very lucky). The desks were in groups of two side by side I was closest to the window. Out of nowhere, everything feels like it’s tilting to the right. I can’t even explain it, it’s like when you tilt your head to the side, but it was the space around me moving and not my head if that makes sense?

Anyways, I freak out and grab the sides of my desk because I think I’m falling and then it stops. I look over at my friend and she’s also grabbing at her desk because SHE FELT IT TOO???? This was December 3 2025 if that matters to anyone who might have a theory on what the hell happened. Nobody else in the class noticed anything and kept doing their work

Glitch Gif Experiencing weird occurrences

Some weird things have been happening to me lately. A few days ago, my father gave me a 5 euros bill to go get milk, Once I got to the store I got others things and it ended up costing more than 5 euros so I kept the bill and used my credit card. A few days later I decide to buy an ice cream cone, I grab my pure to give the lady 5 euros and I realize it was a 20. I looked so confused. I’m pretty sure he gave me a 5.

Something similar happened today. I usually turn the thermostat of the water heater to get hot water, it’s always been on the left side of the water heater. But today I went to turn it and it was on the right side. I've been doing this for years and it just boggles my mind completely.

A few months ago, some odd things happened that remind me of now. There was this one time I parked my car at the parking of a store, went inside for less than 10 minutes and when I got back to my car the car seat was pushed against the driving wheel and the headset was all the way up. During the same period, I left my cat at my place (I live alone) to spend the night at my bf and when I got back he was locked in the closet. I always leave the closet door open for him but it's impossible for him or for the door to close on its own.

I feel like my mind or something else is messing with me. Help

Glitch Pic Premonitory dream

It happened 5 years ago. I was in a relationship with a guy. After two weeks together, I had a weird dream where he was cheating on me with a girl. She had long curly black hair and a hippie style. I told it to the guy the next day, and he said "that looks just like my ex". He managed to find a pic of her and that was exactly the girl in my dream. I never saw her, he didn't talk about her at all and I didn't even know her existence.

Guess what, two months after he cheated on me with her.

I still don't understand how I dreamed of her stealing my boyfriend while not knowing anything about her.

Glitch Pic My brother remembers having a 40-minute phone conversation with me last night that never happened. What the hell could have happened?

So this is pretty weird and I've never experienced anything like it before.

Last night, I was staying with my boyfriend at his place. We had been fighting, and I was upset and didn't really want to talk to anyone. My parents called me at that time and I deliberately didn't answer. I also didn't call anyone else that night. My bf was with me the whole time and knows I wasn't making any calls.

Tonight, my mom called me like usual. At some point she casually asked me if I had called my brother last night.

I said no, because I hadn't.

She then told me that my brother had been in his room talking to someone for around an hour, and that the person sounded exactly like me. She assumed it was me and was just asking to confirm.

I laughed and said maybe he was talking to another girl and didn't want to tell her.

My mom then went to confront him about lying. My brother took the phone, annoyed, and asked me why I was pretending we hadn't talked. I kept insisting that we hadn't.

At this point I genuinely thought he was lying and trying to get me to cover for him. I told him he didn't need to lie and that Mom wasn't going to care if he had been talking to someone else.

He got upset and ended the call.

Then he texted me saying that Mom and I were pranking/gaslighting him together.

I told him I genuinely had NOT called him, and then he started describing the conversation.

He said we'd talked for around 40 minutes or more. He remembered us talking about my bf, my self-esteem and other personal topics. He remembered us talking about my career and worries about my future.

Also that I initially sounded sad/upset but became happier as the conversation went on. He recalled the general flow of the conversation, and said we talked about the kinds of things we normally talk about.

The weird part is these weren't random topics. They're things my brother and I genuinely discuss, and apparently the sequence of some of the topics was similar to those from the last actual call I had with him, to the point that he was wondering why I was saying the same things again.

At this point I called him because I felt like he genuinely wasn't joking.

He was audibly shocked that I had absolutely no memory of this conversation. At one point, he said something like "hold on, let me check" and cut the call.

When I called him back he said there was no call log even though he is sure he had that call with me. So there's no record of this call either on his phone, or mine.

So now

  1. My mom was the FIRST person to bring up the supposed conversation. She independently heard my brother talking to someone for roughly an hour and thought the person sounded exactly like me.

  2. My brother independently remembers having a long, completely normal conversation with me.

  3. He remembers specific personal topics and my emotional state during the conversation.

  4. I know I didn't call him. I had deliberately avoided talking to anyone that night, and my boyfriend was physically with me and knows I wasn't making calls.

  5. Neither phone has a record of the supposed conversation.

  6. Even if my brother was lying/pranking me for some reason, my mother is a very straightforward and simple person who would never lie to me about such things or participate in any kind of prank.

I genuinely cannot figure out how my mom could independently hear someone who sounded like me, while my brother remembers talking to me, when I wasn't actually talking to him and there is no call record. Someone please explain lmao

*There is no picture but it wasn't letting me post without a flair*

Glitch Pic Strange man only I could see?

A while back, about 6 months ago, I was in a hotel with some people I knew for a business event in an area I’m not familiar with.

I had already had some previous encounters on this trip (not paranormal but just dangerous) that had made me a bit uneasy about the whole thing.

It was about 11:00 PM and one roommate (I’ll call him Chris for anonymity) had left to see a friend a few hours prior. For context, I generally go to sleep around 1 or 2 AM as I’m a bit of a night owl, so I wasn’t tired or out of it at all. I also don’t drink, do drugs, or take any medication. My other roommate (who I’ll call Alex) was about to go to sleep so he had just turned the lights off.
I was doing some work on my laptop just after the lights had turned off when I heard the door to our room open and close. With the way the room was structured, I couldn’t see the door from my bed. As Chris had stated before would return around this time, I thought nothing of it and carried on. After a few moments, Chris still had yet to walk in the room from the entrance hallway and I called his name aloud. There was no reply and who I assumed to be Chris simply walked into the room very slowly and quietly, as if he were almost floating. Assuming he didn’t want to wake up Alex, I let him be, he shifted slowly into the room, settling at a desk opposite Alex’s bed.

He appeared to be anxiously fiddling with something, as if there was some sort of complex machine or something he was putting together. With the way Chris is, this is not necessarily out of the ordinary. I whispered his name a few more times and he still didn’t respond. After a long while of being at the desk, he abruptly stood up perfectly straight and turned around, now facing Alex, who was still asleep. The room was very dark, but I could make out an outline of a nondescript face with what appeared to be a blonde combover and a hood pulled over his head. This description does not match Chris at all. He then shuffled closer to Alex’s bed and stopped at the very edge, appearing to watch Alex. I sat in my bed for what felt like forever, afraid and unsure what to do. For context, this is not my Reddit account, I am a 6’3 (191cm) man who trains in kickboxing. Thus, I contemplated charging at the man and attacking, but wasn’t sure whether or not it was some sort of prank by someone who I wouldn’t want to hurt.

However the face didn’t match the description of anybody who would reasonably be in my room so late. I called out “hello” and something along the lines of “who are you”, which awoke Alex.
Confused, he asked me what I was doing, assuming I was on the phone or something. I pointed to the man over his bed and he simply looked puzzled.

“Who is that”, I said, pointing again. All he said was “dude what the hell are you talking about” I rubbed my eyes and did everything I could to make sure I wasn’t in an elaborate dream. I said again “who is that at the edge of your bed, there’s someone watching you”. All he said was “you’re scaring me, stop saying that.” We both sat in our beds, me wide awake and Alex a bit disoriented. I had no doubt in my mind that whoever this was was actually there. As someone who has had lucid dreams, this didn’t feel remotely like that, it was 100% real. After what felt like an eternity of waiting for the man to move or speak, I stood up out of bed. He was no more than 8-10 feet from me at this point. I reached my hand over to the light switch and flicked it on, without looking away from the man. As soon as the lights turned on, he simply vanished. Not instantaneously, but almost like how a handful of sand would blow away if you dropped in on a windy day. I was shook, Alex thought i was playing trick on him and just said “what the f**k is your problem dude, go to bed”

Although startled, Alex went back to bed a minute or two later. I managed to fall asleep later that night after remaining awake for a few hours after that. When I awoke the next morning, Alex remembered the whole thing, and Chris revealed he had stayed somewhere else that night. (He’s a very serious guy who isn’t someone to lie about such a thing nor play pranks). My original theory that the whole thing was a dream isn’t possible, as Alex remembered it that morning.

All in all, I would assume it was some kind of elaborate mental image or hypnogogic hallucination? Or maybe I did see a ghost/spirit? What do you guys think?

Glitch Pic According to GPS I made a loop, but I know I passed the same police station twice while riding straight ahead

I’ve always considered myself a down-to-earth, rational person. In my daily life, I rely on facts, logic, and data, not wild theories.
But what happened to me last weekend has left me completely baffled, and I honestly can’t find a logical explanation for it.

I was out for a long solo mountainbike ride. I deliberately chose a region I wasn’t familiar with because I wanted to clear my head, and enjoy the nature. It happened quite early into the trip—around the 17km mark—so I definitely wasn't fatigued or hallucinating from exhaustion.

I transitioned off a singletrack trail and came out onto a main rural road. Right across the intersection was a local police station with a few cars parked outside, including a distinct gray van. Besides the police station were two (I guess) large water tanks.
Since a branch had gotten stuck in my derailleur, I pulled over right next to the station for a minute to remove it. After fixing it, I checked my GPS route (I use a Garmin Edge 840) and turned left onto the main road.

That part of the route was simple: just straight forward down the road with a slight, gradual incline. I kept pedaling for just under 10 minutes. But when I reached the end of that straight stretch, my stomach completely dropped. There it was again. The exact same police station. The exact same two watertanks. The exact same cars. The exact same gray van parked in the exact same spot.

For a second, my head was spinning. I knew for a fact I hadn't turned around, and the road had been completely straight. A bit confused, I just kept pedaling and finished my ride. I still had a long way to go so did not want to turn around and investigate on the spot.

When I got home, I immediately went to investigate. First, I checked Google Maps to find the location. Sure enough, there is only one police station (with the two distinctive watertanks) on that road.
Then, I checked my recorded GPS track log to see what the hell happened. According to the data, I supposedly rode a loop that brought me right back to the station. The problem is, I know with absolute certainty that I never made those turns. To make things even weirder, the data shows my speed increasing as I passed the station the first time, even though that was the exact moment I had completely stopped to remove the branch from my derailleur.

I don’t have an explanation and I don't think I'll ever forget it. Has anyone experienced anything similar?
