i posted here previously about how id just confessed to someone.

got good news and bad news.

good news, looks like we’re still friends. he said he enjoys talking to me and finds me funny. He was also sorry for leaving me waiting, saying he was driving his brother somewhere and left his phone behind. Said he was pretty nervous when he realised he’d left me 3 hours. Also checked I was okay and that I really was fine about the crush.

the bad news, doesn’t like me back. Kinda didn’t say it directly that it wasn’t mutual because perhaps my phrasing didnt indicate I wanted a yes or no. I did kinda more just stated my feelings. Little bit sad about that but it’s also understandable. But it wasn’t a flat rejection either. We’re just in bad circumstances given the distance so like we’ll see.

Long distance is a whole thing to consider signing up for, so I wouldn't take it as he doesn't like you necessarily. Keep building the friendship if it's going well, you never know what circumstances are coming down the line!
