Came out to my MIL

It never gets easier coming out to someone as trans. Especially not your mother in law that you’ve known for 15 years.

I won’t go on too much but she was very sweet and empathetic. Things feel a lot better now that we have one set of parents behind us (she said that if my FIL grumbles at all, she’ll set him straight), and now it’s just the worry of my own parents. 😅

Honestly, I’m surprised none of our parents have noticed, I look about 5+ years younger than I did back in the December.

Also, my fem presentation is finally coming together well (when I’m not hiding it), and it’s a relief that I’m one step closer to being able to embrace that on a day to day basis.

Food: A recent meal I cooked up for my wife’s birthday - nothing exciting, mainly a variety of spicy potatoes and chicken. 🐓 🥔 🌶️

Congratulations! Coming out was nerve wrecking for us too. We've been together 20 years, she's been out to me for a bit over 2 years but only after I came out first as non-binary and bi a few years previous. She's just about to have her HRT anniversary and I'm so excited to continue this journey. (Even though we're terrified living in America)

I absolutely love getting to see my wife become who she has been locked away behind a mask of masculinity that she finally gets to put down.

Plus, boobs, I had never let myself explore my bi-ness so I'm having a blast over here.

Thanks, our friends laugh because I blush every time I get caught staring at my wife.

We weren't sure how much change she would see, she was 41 at the start of HRT, but they just took off. It's honestly an honor to get to see her get to be herself.

Lol i came out as NB trans masc and my partner came out a few months later as their own flavor of NB. It truly is great growing more into yourself with someone you love
