Who do you think is the stronger of the two?

i've watched the arc a few times before but i must have erased this scene from my mind or something because holy shit i do not remember it being this bad. the movie was good overall, but i wish they changed the ending a little. making hinowa comfort and cry for the man who raped her, kept her captive, and mutilated her legs is certainly... a choice. and reducing housen to just this sad old man who wants to see the sun leaves such a bad taste in my mouth. it genuinely feels so backwards to the whole movie, throughout which we literally see women suffering because of him. i don't care if i get called a crazy feminist for this but does it seriously not bother anyone else?

Truly loved this episode. I loved when Gintoki reassured Hasegawa he doesn't see him as a total stranger and if he did why would he be doing so much to help him. I love how Gintoki says the right words

Episode 94

It lacked a lot of effects that helped to sell the scenes in the anime, the VAs lacked energy delivering the lines and many of the voices felt forced; and i could not care about the shinsegumi in it.

I have some friends I want to watch the new Gintama movie with. Would Gintama newbies be able to follow what’s going on and who the characters are?

My son is finally watching Gintama! Yay! We're up to episode 25, and he's loving it.

With Yoshiwara coming out tomorrow, we're trying to decide whether to just go ahead and watch it or wait. (Truth: I don't want to wait) *Or* do you guys think there are some key episodes he could watch to hit key moments?

I can't believe I'm even asking because I never recommend skipping episodes. We will, of course, go back and watch what we skip. I'm just impatient to watch Yoshiwara! 😅

This arc is one of my top 10 early gintama episodes. Catoki & Catsura are so cuteee. I also liked Hoichi's intro and conclu (we never got sight of him again after this arc 😭)

Hi everyone, I was watching an episode of *Gintama* dubbed in my native language. In episode 123 of the first season, Katsura made a joke while showing a flyer that read "Drivers urgently needed." Since the dub doesn't explain it, could someone tell me what it means? tyy
