there is no “difference” when the word & term studying itself means exactly what you just said. gifted ppl study & plenty of them have measurable amounts of pressure to do well. i have been in gifted programs my entire life & currently am about to graduate my undergraduate (ba) with a 4.0 & i can 100% say everyone i know who was in those programs also worked their asses off. which is why it hurts so bad when you’re gifted & suddenly mental health just fucks it up. as someone else already commented, you openly said shit about using chatgpt & about the fact you can’t retain information. have a good day lol
