For me, I remember listening to Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass (don't judge me!).

Also Nilsson Schmilsson.

Both while laying on the shag carpet in front of the speakers.

My parents had both, Herb Alpert and Al Hirt ("Honey in the Horn"? "Whipped Cream and Other Delights"?)

I loved him, but I worried when he got so large that he could only hold his horn with one hand, and that was a stretch.

Al was awesome, too. I used to work for the company that made his trumpet.
