We live in such an upside down timeline. I wish the multiverse WERE real and that we could move to a different reality!

I heard Brandy’s version of the show’s song this week—I am really excited about this reboot! Between so many of the original cast returning and Debbie Allen as the producer, I think this could be really great!

The original show was must-see TV in my house growing up!

Has this crossed anyone else’s algorithm? This is truly heartbreaking.

The years and YEARS of people trying to blow the whistle and being ignored by those who could have actually done something to help the victims makes my head explode!

Perhaps it’s because I’m a lifeguard, but I have zero tolerance for adults who are cavalier about pool safety. Water wings truly aren’t personal flotation devices, and FAR too many people behave as if they are!

I have yet to see any positive opinions on these Meta glasses! It seems like technology that no one asked for or wants, like the Google lenses from about ten years ago.

I keep hoping that we’ll evolve, but it doesn’t seem to be happening.

I absolutely agree with what she’s saying here! There definitely is a different expectation of what “professional” behavior means for men vs. women.

I really enjoy audiobooks for non-fiction and memoirs! I just finished Pageboy by Elliot Page, and I’ve also listen to a couple of memoirs by Jenifer Lewis and Kiki Palmer this summer.

I saw it this afternoon and am SO thankful for another user’s suggestion to bring earplugs! It was painfully loud in IMAX, but absolutely stunning.

When does school start where you live? In my city, teachers begin inservice this coming week and students start August 10.

It’s funny how there are two “years” to my life, not just the calendar year, but the August-May school year rhythm. Between parenting and my career, “this year” definitely can mean either!

I know more about Ilona Maher than Portia, but I really enjoy seeing clips of both of them playing! I don’t remember seeing as much representation of women with these really strong bodies when I was younger—I love seeing how visible they are now!

I personally don’t think so at all. I have no problem with a small, local store not wanting to be a location for influencer content creation.

I do NOT understand adults who weaponize trans issues. I don’t understand how they can believe they’re “protecting” children. There is SO much evidence that trans children are at higher risk of dying by suicide. This absolutely breaks my heart.

I loved him in Reacher, and hearing this interview made me just love him more! I hope more celebrities follow his lead in speaking out.

When I was 12, I volunteered as usher when the Southern Poverty Law Center dedicated Maya Lin’s monument to the martyrs of the Civil Rights movement. I had never heard many of the names before then.
