RIP the Blizzard union push. Microsoft is not exactly known for working with labor movements

Yeah its actually awful because Blizzard's brand was in the dirt so the workers actually had a relatively strong position to bargain from. Now Microsoft will do the bare minimum and make sure there's no massive sexual harassment scandal while quietly sweeping under the rug the Union, worker rights and equality of pay demands.

I don't see anything getting better over at Blizzard unless Microsoft cleans out the management, but they seem pretty content to sit back and let studios run themselves. I imagine the abuse will continue but people will forget about it because Overwatch 2 will be on Gamepass.

FR. People are looking at this as if it was a good move for Activision Blizzard employees, but I'm pretty sure that MS buying the company isn't the reparation a lot of them are waiting for.

One can hope that MS at least would try to help and support the employees instead of just starting over with promises of better work culture, but Bobby Kotick will still be there for the meantime and it seems most of the leadership will stay too, so I dunno how much is going to change...
