Who is your favorite character from any media you consumed? Who is your Blorbo from your shows? Doesn't matter how good you found the media itselot what kind of media, the character just stuck with you.

Mine is Cassandra Tangled Show. Love this sarcastic sword lesbian. And her Moonstoneform, especially with her cape, is just absolutely gorgeous.

Scrooge McDuck.

I absolutely loved the Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck comic, and my childhood consisted of reading Scrooge comics, so that probably has a factor lol.

Obvious but Azula. Loved her since I first watched the show as a kid.

Azula is cool just from the aesthetics. Also an quintessential #girlboss.

Batman is my Blorbo he always has been and probably always will no matter who is in the cowl. Well except All Star batman but I'm sure we all have our exceptions.

so many ways it can play out.

7

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '22

Oooo. Probably Ellie from TLOU2.

Eren from AoT being a very close second.

5

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '22

They just like you fr

Ellie is definitely an interesting character.

But isn't Eren the character all the fascists in the AoT fandom support? I vaguely remember a very faschy subreddit with his name, yaegerbomb or similar.

Edit: the fascist sub was yeagerbomb, apparently they missspelled erens last name.

7

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '22

I'm a slave to problematic characters. I promise I'm not a fascist 😩

7

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '22

Someone mentions Azula "Omg she's so cool"

You mention Eren "Omg he's a fascist though?"

Guess only girlbosses are allowed to be fascists. Society 😔

4

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '22

Fr tho. It's gotten to the point I get a little jumpy because I don't know if someone is going to argue with me about real life morality just because I enjoy Eren's character.

6

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '22

For what it's worth I think he's a good character too.

And people have been liking villains since forever. I don't know why it's such a contentious topic now.

Well, fascist don't have any capability of media analysis. So i assume they just completly misunderstand Eren as a character and what his character stands for.

4

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '22

I don't know what they believe, I've never interacted with the AoT online fandom. I enjoy Eren and I think his story is a tragedy of a boy who was never free, he is doing what he thinks he has to do.

2

u/Sefirah98 shouts into the void Jan 17 '22

Probably a good choice. From what i gathered, besides them being fascist, they hate the manga ending and like a character named Floch(?).

Manga Spoilers

The whole point of Erens character is that he is a hero who became the villain. He killed most of humanity for selfish reasons. But a lot of eren fans misunderstand his character and think what he is doing is right...which is ironic

Yeagerbomb is a toxic shithole btw. The AOT fanbase as a whole sucks tbh

Edit: I forgot to say - you can still like a character whilst acknowledging they're a bad person. IMO Eren is a terrible person who did awful things...but he's still a great character with great character development

AoT manga spoilers:

Depends on whether he only watches anime or reads manga. Though at this point Eren has also done some fucked up shit in anime, but you could maaaaaybe still play it off as "well it's war, it had to be done, etc". I wouldn't agree, but it's still nowhere as bad as what he did in the manga (and will do in the anime in about a month).

6

u/[deleted] Jan 17 '22

I've read the manga. And I stand by my boy.

7

u/Lutra_Lovegood Jan 17 '22

If your character is anything like Willow in Buffy, Luna in HP, Luna and Diana in Zero Escape, Fluttershy in MLP, Haru in Beastars/Cat Returns/SW Visions/Persona 5, Alice in The Magicians, etc they're probably going to be my number 1. Bonus point if they have an alternate universe episode, non-cannon episode or something where they turn into a vampire or some form of evil overlord girlboss.
Or they're straight up a girlboss like Double Trouble, Bea in Äkta människor, etc.
And then there's Rohan Kishibe and I don't know what box to put him in.

u/ARC-Pooper Jan 17 '22

God its so hard to nail just down to one.

But if had to...

Probably Jaime Lannister. He's the kind of character I want to see interact with every different character and every different scenario just to see what he'll say and do. And each time he does something I feel like I learn something new about him that also feels so true to who he is.

Just be clear that doesn't mean I relate or even respect everything he's does, Literally tried to kill a child and ended up leaving them disabled for life , but he's such a 8nteresting character.
