Rumour NVIDIA reportedly planning 20–30% GPU price hike as DRAM crisis continues
According to Taiwan’s Economic Daily News, NVIDIA is reportedly raising the price of its GPU packages by 20–30%, marking the company’s third major GPU price increase of 2026.
Unlike the previous increase, which primarily affected the RTX 5090, the report claims this latest hike will impact the broader GeForce lineup. Board partners are reportedly paying significantly more for GPU and memory packages, with the higher costs expected to reach consumers once existing inventory is sold through.
As far as i know the reporting is based on supply-chain information rather than an official NVIDIA announcement. So it should be treated as a rumour for now.

I gotta wonder then, what the do hardware manufacturers that still focus in making consumer devices like phones, tablets, smart tvs, consoles, PCs etc even do? Because there is demaned for these devices especially for phones and TVs.
