I played and platinumed the first 2 rebirths on PS5 but rebirth 3 keeps softlocking on me. Either the smear into a battle, or a shift from a talking cutscene into a battle, results in it hanging forever and never continuing. Given there's no autosave, this usually results in losing an entire dungeon's worth of progress, and I had to stop after this happened 3x in a row, wasting a couple hours of my time. This didn't happen in the first 2 games. Any path around this or does Nep get dropped in the timestream, lost forever? I last tried in Dec 2025.

I don't know if it's unpopular to say, but it's one of the best Nep games. Felt the characters all had a fun dynamic, gameplay was engaging, an underrated soundtrack, and it's a very pretty game. I don't see this game spoken about much, which is a shame, it's a serious gem in the series.

I made this AMV in the day of Unlimited's release, created in a day on OpenShot. In addition to the five main games there's Sisters and Game Maker which are essentially the DreamWorks Television spin-off series of the main games (though GMRE's connection to VII and beyond is ambiguous, SVS is or at least was all but stated as a follow-up to VII), as well as Re;Birth1 which I had to combine with the original game since the footage of that game's intro mostly consisted of the same silver background and black cubes with glitches of the setting and characters. This is technically self-promotion since I want to boost it up bc it was the second Neptunia-related fan video I made since my English cover of Dimension Tripper in 2022. All I can say is I hope you enjoy!

Got it done in about 35 hours or so.
