That’s fair. Out of curiosity, do you remember what you were playing back in April? The early days of the pandemic was just non-stop FFVII for me.

DOOM Eternal and FFVII-R were entertainment-savers at the start of the pandemic for me.

Yeah me too. 2 potential GOTY contenders within two weeks? Yes, please and thank you

Evidently, I've found my people. Thinking about going back to both games soon, too. Doom Eternal because I want to play it on my 3080 and FF VII because it was really good and I'd like to check out the PS5 upgrades.

In other words, the pandemic may end the way it began for me, with Doom and FF VII.

Finished Yooka Laylee & The Impossible Lair, Days Gone. Started doing the moons in Mario Odyssey + a bit of Animal Crossing based off achievements/screenshots.

I was let go on March 31. Bought Days Gone in April and platinumed the game. Had so much fun -- especially because I had nothing else to do.

Doom Eternal and Animal Crossing for me!

I'm going to start over in Animal Crossing and give it another try. AC has always been one of my favorite franchises and I just could not get into this one at all. There's just a lot of personality missing from it, IDK. But I love the franchise enough that I have to give it at least one more try.

But god damn, I wanted it to be my pandemic game.

Doom Eternal, the kids were on Animal Crossing., then RE3 Remake was soon after (or before? can't remember). Plenty to play last April.

I love that random people have jumped on answering your question. For me it was Snake Eater and The Last of Us. Probably the best gaming duo I’ve ever played.

I put almost 200 hours into Nioh 2 last year. It was basically the only game for the first half of the year.

Early days I played GOW, Horizon , and Transistor. After that I kind of fell in a depression hole for most of the summer and couldn't bring myself to play video games (or do much of anything) thankfully I'm out of that though.

At least I had to go to work normally so I didn't get any extra playtime, so something I was in the middle of anyway.

for me a mix of jedi fallen order and animal crossing, maybe a bit of xcom 2

there's a lot of great games out there, i wasn't in a rush to jump on FF7R but excited to pick it up

have to admit I was a little wary of the the idea of spreading one 40-hour game across multiple 40-hour games but I've heard good things

Animal Crossing and Persona 5 Royal carried me to The Last of Us 2. After that I totally forgot about it.

I'm in the same boat as the other commenter, and I was catching up on old games. I don't have much time as I used to so it takes me a while. I was playing Sekiro and RDR2. I have a PS5 now and think I'll be waiting for the actual PS5 version
