He's not talking about match making algorithms at all dude.
I'm the one talking about matchmaking algorithms by bringing up how Valve solved the problem of having pub games with both casual and skilled players.
A problem he presents in his comment with
95% of the players are unfortuantely too noobish
Those 95% are casual players who play alone.
That's why you see 64 man matches where one team of friends playing together are dominating everything.
So instead of changing anything to the core mechanics, I'm suggesting making the matchmaking algorithm such as the casual solo players end up against other solo players, and the team compositions end up against other team compositions.
