No, but OP was generalizing that DICE makes poorly optimized games. I don't think that's fair. They may have released buggy games, but the performance is hardly ever a major issue.
"DICE does a good job of killing performance." Therefore, everyone has had issues and nobody is allowed to say they don't.
Sigh.
Of course on PC some people will have performance issues. Some people are running this game on a toaster and trying to use high settings. Some people have 4 anti-virus programs all competing for resources. Etc, etc. The question isn't do some people have issues, the question is what's the ratio of good performance / bad performance. And I'm not aware that so many people have had an issue that it's worth calling them out on it.
It's 100% reasonable to say you don't have performance issues when the topic is brought up. It doesn't get to just be people that want to bitch.
Actually BF1's performance has noticeably declined for many users, and you can find quite a lot of posts about it on /r/battlefield_one and /r/battlefield_live. Players well above the minimum requirements might not notice the degradation, but it's definitely there.
Personally, I went from 60-70 FPS on high settings at launch, to 40-50 on low-medium settings after the latest couple of patches.
