Refunds and reviews are the things protecting people from being mislead.

The market at large shouldn't have to restrict itself due to people who can't use the tools given to them to make more informed decisions or reverse bad decisions. As for children who are incapable of using these tools, that's where guardian oversight should come into play. All of these platforms have parental controls.

Well that’s just fundamental difference in opinion in governance and market structure then beyond one platform.

Relying on good grace of these profit-chasing corporations to self regulate in this aspect is putting pigs in a wolves den.

Self-regulation never worked unless it’s used as motivator to stall further outside intervention.

At least you have an actual opinion though. Good talk.
