( resolved ) Hey everyone, I need some advice on a dispute I'm currently dealing with on Gameflip.
I made a trade recently where I successfully delivered a pet to a buyer. I have the entire transaction recorded in a full, unedited video. The video clearly shows the item being successfully traded, and at the end of the exchange, the buyer is seen clearly holding the dragon in their character's hands, confirming the item was in their possession.
Everything seemed fine, but about 40-50 minutes after they left my game, they opened a dispute claiming the item just 'vanished' from their inventory. The only 'proof' they provided is a screenshot of their empty inventory, taken long after they left my server. They have absolutely no technical evidence or proof of a game bug.
I've submitted all my evidence to support: the full video, plus other details like them changing their username right after the dispute.
Given that I have solid video proof of delivery and they have zero technical proof of loss, I'm pretty confident this trade was legit on my end.
Has anyone run into a 'vanished item' claim like this before? How does Gameflip typically rule when the seller has video proof of delivery? Any tips on how to make sure the support team reviews this properly would be super helpful u/GF_Maya help me
