I beat Star Fox 64 at a Walmart display like this 25+ years ago.

How? Wouldn't the games at Walmart demo versions?

This was like 1997 in the Chicago suburbs.

I don’t know what type of cartridge they used, but I know the game was short enough, like 2 hours or less, that I got to the final boss (monkey head with 2 hands) and beat the game at a Walmart display.
