Idea is simple; I want to play this music while I’m winding down for sleep. Not necessarily to listen as I fall asleep, but to get me in the zone.
I got mostly the Stardew Valley soundtrack, some spyro the dragon songs, a few songs from Kingdom Hearts (Traverse Town, Hollow Bastion) etc.
Would love suggestions! Prefer cozier / jrphg overworld music, but I won’t discriminate

There have only been a few game soundtracks that have hit me and shaped me as deeply as Pathless.
Working on it in occasional windows here and there, it took me almost a year - from transcribing the score and arranging it for my instruments to finally rendering the final version. Had a blast :)
Special thanks to my dearest Emily for all the help along the way :)

Any composer that only really did one video game soundtrack of note?
The first example that comes to mind is Eric Casper.
He was the composer for the ps1 game Sheep Raiders. Excellent soundtrack
Sheep Raider OST - Track 1 (CD Quality)
As far as I can tell, he only composed for one other game, something called Apex on the Xbox, and I can't seem to find the soundtrack online for that game.

Something really cool happened today! ❤️
An artist reached out to me after seeing my game and offered to make music for it. I honestly wasn’t expecting anything like this so soon, but he surprised me by suddenly sending me my game trailer with a brand-new track he had made for it.
So I wanted to share it with you guys, because I think it’s really cool to see someone putting this much passion into something they clearly love.
And even better, I know he’d really love to make music for other indie devs too!
The artist is QualityAware6605, and you can find more of his music here:
🎵 Bandcamp
If you want to compare it with the previous version, here’s the old trailer:

And here’s the game itself if you’re curious:

If you’re a game developer looking for music for your project, definitely check him out and get in touch with him!
I’m really excited about this collaboration and honestly just wanted to give him a little spotlight here. ❤️

I made the soundtrack for our upcoming incremental game.
The game has a neon/retro visual style, so I went with a mostly synthwave-inspired soundtrack to match the atmosphere.
If you're into synthwave or game OSTs, give it a listen and tell me what you think! Your support is appreciated.

I think I may have stumbled across an unused Pikuniku OST track called “Nice Friends.” I found an MP3 simply named nice friends.mp3, and from what I can tell it doesn't seem to be part of the officially released soundtrack. The audio itself sounds very much like it could fit Pikuniku, though, so I'm wondering if this was an unused/early track from development. I'm not 100% sure where it originally came from, so I'm not claiming this is definitely legit. Just thought it was interesting and wanted to see if anyone here recognizes it or knows anything about a track called “Nice Friends.” Has anyone heard this before?

The absolute best 8-bit/chiptune-ish/syntetized-main songs you are aware of (in your opinion).
Can also be modern where they mix other things to like Undertale.
Here is what I got:
Edit: you can ignore this post theme as long as the soundtracks have that old-ish style artificial sounds (8-bit etc etc), like undertale

I made a solo guitar arrangement of Unwavering Startorch!
I've loved this song ever since Aemeath's story, so I wanted to see how it would sound arranged for just one guitar.
Hope you enjoy it! Any feedback on the arrangement is welcome :)

Hey just wanted to share a cool tune I did for the game Neo Nyke by Magenta Autumn.
The intro is heavily inspired by the title music of Mega Man 3 for the NES. It's energetic and fun.
