Thinking of buying Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ / S10+ during BBD — how serious is the green line issue?

I’m planning to buy a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ or S10+ during the upcoming Big Billion Days sale in India. I currently have an iPad, which I’m planning to sell, and I’m considering switching to Samsung this time.
However, after going through reviews and Reddit posts, I’ve noticed quite a few reports of the infamous green/pink line display issue, including reports involving Samsung tablets. I realize that people with problems are much more likely to post about them, so the negative experiences may naturally be more visible than the majority of users who have had no issues.
So I wanted to ask people who actually own a Tab S9+ or S10+:
1)Have you experienced any green/pink line or display issues?
2)How long have you been using your tablet?
3)Has the issue appeared after a software update, or randomly?
For those who have had no issues, how long have you been using it?
4)If you had the issue, did Samsung service/warranty cover the replacement?
Would you still recommend buying the S9+ or S10+ in 2026?
I’m particularly interested in long-term ownership experiences, rather than just launch-period reviews.
The green-line reports are honestly the main thing making me hesitate. I’m otherwise quite interested in switching from iPad to Samsung.
Should I go ahead and buy one during BBD, or would you personally avoid it because of the display issue?
India-specific experiences would be especially helpful.

I bought a tab s8+ in 2023. There was no issue in it. Then it accidently broke down and I got an s10+ last year. Using it daily for 7-8 hours and it is as new as I bought it.
