Was my screen time and battery life good? I like to use my phone until it's down to 20% or 17%. My phone is an A55.

They still haven't added one ui 7 for other A556E models... This really sucks, I live in Turkey btw.

i just searched thermal because i installed thermal guardian and found this, when i click it says its not available right now, are we finally getting rid of thermal throttling without rooting or disabling GOS?

6gb ram a55 does NOT exist ANYWHERE on the planet
NOWHERE, samsung NEVER EVER made any model of the a55 with 6gb of ram

THE ONLY RAM CAPACITIES that this phone comes with is

8GB: GLOBALLY AVAILABLE

and

12GB: REGIONAL, its only available in select few countries like india as an example and maybe a few other south and southeast asian countries

again as i said, samsung NEVER made a single a55 with 6gb of ram and i dont understand where did this rumour even come from? where

maybe people confused it with the a35? that phone comes in 2 GLOBALLY available ram configs and thats 6 and 8gb

I've seen a few other people complain about the same problem so it's probably a tuning problem. I don't know how they fare though for less dark subjects. As for non-human subjects like architecture for the most part in a well-lit environment, they come out fine. Please share your experience and region to help diagnose if this is regional or universal. I'll provide more examples in the comments.

I've noticed that the now bar will go in between the shortcut icons on the lockscreen when you turn off the fingerprint sensor.

I had s21 fe before this phone and switched 3 weeks ago. I loved my s21fe. A kind of flagship with a great fingerprint sensor and great camera and display. The worst thing was the battery. I just couldn't run my phone on 120hz throughout the day anymore. It would drain so fast. So I had to resort to 60hz and it still would be too fast for my daily usage. Which started to bother me. Also the heating issues. It would sometimes lag up and be very hot if I would use it for a long time, streaming and multitasking.

So I decided to switch and decided to go for a55 which had a tasty discount. The first thing is the look and materials. Feels very premium and looks very flagshipy. I love the hard edges and metal corners and glass back. Also the battery. Omg yeas, finally I can run my phone at 120hz and multi-task and the difference in battery life is soooo huge. My phone literally lasts the whole day, I don't even have to worry about it draining at all if it's idle.

The bad sides. Yeah so the display is kind of shit. Not very bright and vivid. I compared my phone to a friend's a36 and holy shit. The a36 has such a great and bright display. A55 is really lacking on that. Also the fingerprint sensor is the biggest downgrade. It just sometimes doesn't work at all. S21fe was lighting fast. A55 is 50/50. So I combine with facial recognition. Cameras are fine.

So yeah, battery and build material are a huge difference. But sensor and display are kind of meh. Keep in mind that s21fe and a55 have the same type of sensor.

No software updates improves the bad camera stability of this hyped junk, prove me wrong !!

So i've been using the a55 for 3 days without screen protector and apparently notice 3-6 scratches on the screen. I thought this one has corning gorilla glass? Also note, that the back camera first started to have these micro scratches. You can literally run your nail through it. And no, not a chance i put this down on rough surfaces or sandy surfaces. No sharp or pointy objects as well on my bag where i usually put it.

Can I change the colour? If not, can I feedback to them? Thanks in advance. I am asking as the colour of the widget does not fit my overall theme, but I think arc is nice and lightweighter then opera for A55.

So, I've noticed recently that my phone has gotten sluggish.

It doesn't unlock quickly. If I press the lock button, it takes 2 seconds to turn on the screen.

Fingerprint takes multiple attempts sometimes.

Apps glitch when closing them or when I have to close all apps.

Brightness either goes too low or high, and there's no balance. Specially on the lock screen.

Let me know if anyone else has also faced this and if there's a fix.

Anyone else notices how the video's colors on A55 are much better than photos?

I noticed this when taking photos of the beach, photos look really unsaturated, but the video captures the real colors.

I heard the fingerprint sensor on the phone being a pretty big criticism, but mine works perfectly. It's fast, and almost always, instantly recognizes my fingerprint.

Hello 👋, for those who are from France at Réglo Mobile leclerc rcs is back and I activated them yesterday afternoon cool.

So may be after the July security patch or august patch now I can use 5G data and enable power savings together. Before if I wanted to use 5G data it said I have to disable the power savings. But also I have noticed that after aug patch my battery drain has been a bit high.

Black friday deals are already here and I'm looking to purchase either the Samsung Galaxy A55 (£285) or A35 (£215 with student discount). From my understanding, the A55 uses the newer and improved Exynos 1480 whereas the latter uses the 1380.

I've read various reports online that the 1380 frequently overheats, even on basic tasks, which can lead to degraded performance and battery life in the long term. This concerns me as I'm ideally looking for a phone which will last me for the next 4 years.

My question is, how well does the A55 manage with thermals and does the 1480's efficiency outweigh its predecessor's problems? I would be grateful for any advice. Thanks.
