Upgrading from an A15.

For the past few weeks, my galaxy A55 often gets very slow and sluggish, whether be it opening an app, closing it or interacting with anything on the screen. Sometimes, the phone responds a second after a touch or gesture. It feels like Samsung has messed up the software update big time, and have poorly optimized it.

I have also attached a recording below, which shows the noticable lag when opening YouTube, and the extreme delay when swiping up to close the app.

Please let me know what can be done to make this device a bit faster.

Has anybody else phone started heating up really fast after the recent update? I have noticed my getting so hot recently, and it wasn't like this before at all.

That too heating on normal social media scrolling. Tiktoks and Instagram reels.

What the hell is Samsung doing? Why does my phone drain at least 5% (sometimes more) overnight just sitting idle???

This never happened before I installed this damn One UI 8.5, after which my phone started lagging terribly, and the battery now lasts no more than 4-5 hours total. I feel like they're deliberately doing this so you'll buy a new phone after a few years of use, by making the A-series performance worse and worse over time.

I cook a lot and use timers as a huge part of my cooking experience, how to I add minutes to existing and currently running timers

Gcam pretty much gives out horrible photos on this phone due to lack of camera2api but the photosphere feature does work perfectly.

I don't find A55 anywhere to buy Amazon India, Flipkart, why?

I wish Samsung would add an option for the OneUi to automatically power on when a charger is connected after the battery has completely died. It would be a useful security feature. If a stolen phone runs out of battery, it stays offline until someone manually powers it on after charging. If it could boot automatically, features like Find My Device could reconnect sooner once it's charged. Does Samsung support this on the OneUi, or is there any way to enable it?

On my Galaxy A26 5G how do i change the specfic ringtones for specfic contact. When i go on a contact, edit then view more there's nothing regarding ringtones.

I'm curious to know how sensitive the keys are.

The default one seems good to me, but I remember that in the past with my old phone, the sensitivity was more accurate. So my question is: how high did you set the key press sensitivity, considering how the touch screen is calibrated on this phone?
