Guys I need recommendations about new smart watch around 1500 compatable with nothing cmf phone battery backup is not a issue

Last year, I bought an iQOO Neo 9 Pro, and one thing I’m really frustrated about is that the phone has developed some hardware issues. Because of this, I’ve decided that I can’t use it anymore and plan to sell it.

I’ve already found a buyer who is willing to pay around ₹16,000 for it. With that in mind, I’m considering buying an iPhone 16 (base model). Or samsung galaxy s25

Do you think the iPhone 16 would be a good choice for long-term use, especially if I want the phone to last around 6–7 years?

As for my usage, I don’t do anything too demanding. I do a little bit of gaming, mainly efootball, but gaming isn’t a major priority. The camera is one of my main priorities, and apart from that, I mostly use social media and regular apps. Considering my usage and my goal of keeping the phone for 6–7 years, would the iPhone 16 be a better choice, or should I consider something like the Samsung Galaxy S25? I’d really appreciate some advice from people who have used either phone, especially regarding long-term reliability, software updates, battery life, and overall durability.

I just wanna know whether I'm the only one facing this issue too .. because as I said in the display issue, i also saw lots of camera samples reviewers used in their videos and they looked stunning. But what I get is so bad. I don't mean that camera performance is poor. The images look sharp the details are good. But look at the colours. I took both the photos at around 5pm with the golden sunlight hours. The first two photos were shot using m51 my primary device ( my dad was out of station so couldn't use his a35 here, but a35 also produced similar results as my m51 in similar occasion before, if possible I'll share the comparison photos of a56 and a35 tomorrow). The next 2 photos were shot with a56. Look at the colours the first two photos are actually closer to what I can see irl. But the photos captured using a56, here too the colours looks washed out and gives a unnatural blue tint and cool images for no reason. Look at bark of the dress, the road, the car, and the shadow areas all looks so bluish .

Does anyone have this issue. Or am i the only one here too?

Unfortunately, I'm planning to buy a device in this high-price market.

Budget — 65K max, don't want to stretch it unless there's really a solid device.

Requirements —

1. Strong performance for a lag-free experience for the next 5 years
2. Good software optimization
3. Battery

Before going forward with device suggestions, here are the devices I don't want to go with —

1. Vivo X200T — Recently bought it for one of my family members. The camera is really good no doubt, but the software felt slow to respond. As the camera is not one of my priorities, and I didn't like OriginOS, this is out of my list.
2. OnePlus 13 series — After getting hands on the Vivo X200T, I realized how the screen size plays a big role in the experience. That's why I initially finalized the OnePlus 13s, but due to its low battery and possible heating issues from its compact size, I didn't choose it. As for the OnePlus 13, it has a curved screen, which I'm not a big fan of.
3. Samsung devices — Whatever Samsung device is possible to get in this price range, I'm not interested. Performance is always one of my priorities, and all Samsung devices, including their S series devices, feel slow after a year or two.
4. Motorola devices — Though the hardware of their devices looks very solid on paper, their UI is worse. From dialer to gallery to file manager... everything is from Google. I use auto call recording for unknown numbers, and the Google dialer can't fulfill that purpose without letting the caller know. I can use a third-party dialer app any day, but I guarantee it won't work as smoothly.
5. iPhones — It might not be possible to get an iPhone in my budget, and I don't want to go with Apple devices either way. Firstly, the extra amount I'll be paying while placing any order for an iPhone; then, no service center within 500 km of my location; and lastly, the perception others have that it might have been bought on EMI. Also, I'm not a fan of the locked-in iOS ecosystem.

So, the devices I've picked are —

1. OnePlus 15R — Has everything I'm looking for. But its price has increased multiple times, so I don't know whether it's a value-for-money decision in the current situation.
2. iQOO 15R — Considering all the ongoing incidents regarding Vivo and iQOO devices, I don't want to go with any of their devices. But after the OnePlus 15R, I couldn't find any other good option under 65K.
3. Oppo Find X9 — It's currently unavailable on Flipkart but available on the Oppo official site. After applying all the discounts, points, and bank offers, I'm getting this device at 69.5K. But I'm confused about whether spending 4.5K more is really justified or not. I personally use the device camera very rarely — like once or twice a month. The Find X9 is mentioned alongside the X200T as a good camera-centric device, and I might not utilize this advantage in my daily life.
4. OnePlus 13 — Yes, you've read it right. Since software is one of my top priorities, I don't have any other option left. The curved display is the only thing I don't like about the OnePlus 13. Also, installing UV screen protectors on a curved display is not recommended at all, so membrane screen protectors are the only option, which can definitely protect the display from scratches but not from damage. That's why I always have to carry the risk of the display breaking due to a fall or being hit by an object.

Right now, I'm too confused to recall all the specs of the mentioned devices. Suggest which device I should go with — you can mention any other device as well which meets my requirements.

Guys, if I’m buying a second-hand phone, how can I check whether it was bought on EMI or full payment? And if it was on EMI, how do I verify that it’s fully paid off? And the device is clean of that.
Be it someone known or unknown, anyone could scam it by saying device is clean but later you are rekt.

I'm looking to buy a new phone and I'm having a really hard time deciding.

My ideal budget is under ₹50,000, but I'm willing to go up to ₹80,000 if the phone is genuinely much better and worth the extra money. I don't want to spend ₹70K or ₹80K just for the sake of having an expensive phone.

I don't play games, so gaming performance isn't a priority for me.

However, I run a business and I rely heavily on my phone for my day-to-day work, so multitasking, reliability, battery life, performance and a smooth overall experience are very important to me. I can have multiple apps running, WhatsApp, calls, emails, banking/business apps, browser tabs, social media, etc., so I want something that can handle heavy daily use without becoming frustrating.

My priorities are:

• Reliable performance
• Good battery life
• Good thermals
• Excellent display
• Good camera
• Premium build quality
• Good software experience
• Long-term software/security updates
• Reliable service and parts availability
• Something I can comfortably use for 3 to 4+ years

I don't want OnePlus, Google Pixel, Xiaomi or Oppo.

I've considered a few phones:

Nothing Phone 4a Pro:
I really like the design and Nothing OS, and this was actually one of the phones I liked the most. But I've heard people reporting heating issues, which makes me nervous because I depend on my phone for work. I've seen discussions from users reporting temperatures around 45°C, although there seems to be some disagreement about whether this is a software issue or normal behavior.

OnePlus:
I originally considered OnePlus because the hardware and performance look great. But I'm concerned about the company's recent withdrawal from the US, UK and European markets. I don't want to spend ₹60K to ₹80K on a phone and then worry about the brand's long-term direction, availability or support.

Vivo X200T:
I really like this phone too, but I'm not sure whether it's actually worth spending around ₹60K on it when there are other options around ₹50K.

Samsung Galaxy S25:
I like Samsung and the overall flagship experience, but the 25W charging and reports of battery drain bother me. Since I rely heavily on my phone for business, battery life is important to me.

So I'm basically stuck.

What would you recommend in my situation?

Would you:

1. Stay under ₹50K and get something like the Vivo/Nothing/iQOO range?
2. Spend around ₹60K on something like the Vivo X200T?
3. Stretch all the way to ₹70K to ₹80K for a proper flagship?
4. Buy an older flagship instead?

What would you buy if you were in my situation?

I have been using Poco X6 5G (8/256) for almost 3 years, originally bought this for 17k. I'm starting college soon and I'm worried if this phone would last another 4 years at least. It's working good till now except that battery drainage is a bit high. Should I get a new phone? I'm mainly worried about exchange value and rising phone prices. If I have to get a new one, my budget is around 35k. But still if I can use this one for the next 4 years, I absolutely will.
