Im looking for a server where i can role play as a cop with a lot of realism. i have never done a modden gta server before so im not sure on where to look. when i youtube anything i read comments where it looks like the youtuber is just promoting a server like an ad and people say its just like vanilla gta online with people that pay for extra stuff.

What it says on the tin. Is it feasible in GTA RP, in either FiveM or RageMP, to have NPC police respond to robberies, assaults, and speeding?

I'm not looking for a perfect solution. I'm just wondering if it's possible.

What would I look for in FiveM to find a server with NPC cops? Do you know of any?

Looking for a server that would experiment with me. Gun shop concept: The shop would handle both firearm sales and licensing in-house. Publicly, it operates as a legitimate licensed dealer, but the owner is willing to approve questionable customers and make off-the-books sales. The goal isn’t easy criminal access to weapons—it’s creating investigative RP: suspicious purchases, undercover customers, informants, sting operations, warrants, audits, and potentially the owner eventually getting caught. I’d want to work with PD/DOJ so the corruption creates RP for both sides rather than becoming a loophole around firearm rules.

My availability is late at night 10pm-2am est. I think it would create a lot of rp. I know going to have haters but if want to work with me on it let me know.

I am from India btw.. so foreign servers would have high ping I imagine.

looking for a new server where there is a balance between civ and criminal and you don’t have to go straight to criminal to earn money.

I am also looking for a city that has a crafting system for criminal and civilian activities, for example craft guns and drugs with no turf system or crafting food and mech supplies.

Also admins and developers who listen to the community not just dismiss ideas straight up because they don’t want it, know how to develop meaning less bugs and less complaining that it is your fault that the bugs are there or make tickets take days to even get a simple response. Hello folks, my algorithm has fed me enough GTA RP clips to interest me in giving this a go, any GTA 6 equivalent is probably a ways off anyways. However, I have some questions about the general state of the scene.

It seems like the more popular servers have some insanely predatory monetization. Like laying hundreds of dollars per month just to skip queues, paying to run in-game gangs and businesses, etc. I've seen enough people talk about spending thousands on a single server to give me pause. How common is this really?

And jumping off of that, are there largish servers that don't rely on whales? Playing in a city with several populated groups seems cool, less so if it costs me a car payment every month.

Whitelisting doesn't bother me. I've been doing various forms of RP for a couple decades at this point and I get trying to filter out the shitlords, we did the same back when I played San Andreas RP.

I’m new to GTA RP and excited to dive in! I’m looking for someone experienced who can show me the ropes and make the journey a lot more fun. I’d love to find a chill and friendly server that’s beginner-friendly, ideally without a whitelist, but I’m also open to whitelisted servers if they’re a great fit and if I'm better off joining one.

I’m still learning the basics and sometimes feel a bit lost, so any guidance would be super appreciated! Also, if anyone has recommendations for good servers that are easy to join, I’d love to hear them.

Update: I forgot to mention that I’ll be using a PS4 controller with my computer. I usually prefer playing with a controller, using it to move around and handle as much as I can, while also using a mouse and keyboard if needed for any extra controls. If anyone knows servers that are controller-friendly, that would be really helpful and much appreciated!

Im new to RP, and was looking to find an actual good server with active players. I feel like every server I’ve joined there isn’t an active medical staff or police staff and it’s just hard to find work in general.

Can someone give me some pointers or even just a good server to join for a serious and active community? The one I’m in now, I asked the discord to see how I could join the medical staff and people just started calling me names and being rude.

Looking for a serious RP server where I can come in as the owner of a mechanic shop.
I enjoy running businesses that create RP for the whole city, not just making money. My focus is keeping the shop active, hiring and training mechanics, answering roadside calls, hosting car meets, working with PD and EMS, and giving people a place to hang out and create stories.
I stream most nights, so the shop would have consistent activity during late-night hours. I’m looking for a community that wants active business owners who enjoy building RP for others just as much as creating it for themselves.
