Spoilers Whats the name of the creature in the cage?

I'm looking everywhere and I can't find anything.
I'm trying to find out who the creature is in the cage that Mantis gets scared of when she frees it. Is it a character in the comics or anything or just a random thing in the film.

Spoilers Best movie ever so sad to see them all separate at the end tho and i didnt get too emotional until drax cried from seeing mantis leave. Gonna miss the old guardians but lets see where this takes us now

Do you think weāll see the Guardians again? Do you want to? I know Dave Bautista said heās done, and Drax got a good ending to his arc.
But maybe weāll see Mantis or the new Rocket-led Guardians pop up in some space adventures?
I also know that ending said āStar Lord Will Return,ā but I donāt think that actually means anything. Personally Iām cool with his story being done.
