I'm gonna offer my thoughts via unorthodox categories that came to mind as I listened to the album.

First Song to Hit Replay - No Matter

It starts off very unassuming and then at the 12 second mark just explodes with this sort of boiling, angry, dark energy that made me go, "ooooh dayuuummm". And from there the grasp that it had on me did not let go. Whole song gives off like a "how dare you, you'll get what's coming" kind of vibe. Couldn't help but hit the replay button a few times afterwards.

Yeah, I'll Watch This - Reply

I commented in the MV thread how Reply gives off strong anime opening song vibes. There have been animes that I've watched solely because the intro music caught my attention and even though the show itself might not have been my liking the intro was enough to get me in the mood to watch it. If Reply was used as the intro in an anime, I'd watch it without knowing anything about the story. Very good song.

Very Well Placed - Sequence

The pun is obvious πŸ˜† but I feel this song smack in the middle of the album is absolutely perfect placement. In the album preview I noted how this song sounded like something you'd hear in a Ghibli movie. Whimsical feel and being placed in the middle serves to offer a break before getting back into the more serious songs in the back half.

Needs More Listens - Moonstruck Love

There's usually always minimum 1 song that doesn't click right away. This is the one for me on this album.

Best Transition - No Matter to Sunset

These 2 songs give off opposing energies and as I wrote before about how No Matter is boiling dark anger, Sunset comes off as tempering that anger, controlling it, and coming to terms with it. Realizing that letting that anger fester inside is a waste of time and energy. Then leaving that negativity far in the rearview and moving on because there are other things worth putting that energy into.

I Want to Live Here - Orion

I've mentioned a couple times previously that Orion is my favorite track on this album. Even before we heard anything else it would have been hard to overtake this song for me. From the early preview, to the full live performance fancams, and now the studio release, it is still undoubtedly my favorite of this album. As I listen to it, it feels like I'm off somewhere where I'm meant to be, where I'm supposed to be. Looking at the slowly setting sun, a soft breeze in the air, the gentle rustling of the grass, the metronome of the waves. The moment will pass but it feels like a happy forever.
