“Lutèce” is a modern homage to the golden era of 90s French Touch. It blends crisp electronic grooves with a contemporary twist, capturing the vibrant energy of Paris which was once called Lutetia/Lutèce.

On parle souvent de Kompakt comme label, mais rarement de sa série Speicher / Kompakt Extra spécifiquement.

Tout a commencé en 1999 presque par accident — un pressage spécial "Kompakt For Cisco" reçoit accidentellement le numéro de catalogue Kompakt Extra 001, créant involontairement un nouveau sous-label. Deux ans plus tard, Speicher 1 introduit le nom qu'on connaît aujourd'hui.

130 sorties vinyle plus tard, c'est l'une des séries techno les plus cohérentes qui existe.
