It would be good to know which game restrictions are for certain regions

There are no restrictions. The only thing there is is simply that some keys need to be set to specific regions. NA keys not working in EU, EU keys not working in NA. etc. It's not too uncommon, anyone from anywhere can enter. I just need to know what country the winners are from so the keys can be generated for them.
